Great E Punjab AC BAR RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Goa

Would have had rated this place in negative if I had the option to… Went there with my family, and ordered paneer, but found egg shells in the gravy, when confronted the waiter tried to be concerned however when he reported to the manager/ owner as he mentioned/ introduced himself (who looked pretty drunk) he just refused to address the issue and got busy watching some videos on his phone… I had to call him at the table to bring this to his notice and reason it out…. But certainly when he came I was sure he was drunk and insisted that it’s ok in his words “ye pure veg hotel to nahi hai na to aisa kabhi kabhi ho Sakta hai” it was funny and ridiculous at the same time!! The food they serve might be good, not that I enjoyed my experience there but the staff and the manager needs to be courteous enough to address the issue, and sitting drunk at the counter is not done! And neither is to serve non-veg food to vegetarian patrons because it is not a pure veg restaurant….. ohh and btw he tried intimidating me by threatening me to speak softly about the issue as other guest will get to know, but his efforts were pretty in-vain…. Pathetic...

The Person on Reception behaviour is very familiar and the way of talk is very polite and when told him to customise our Breakfast and Dinner as per our test than he has served us a good taste(Dilli wala spicy). Always try to share your inputs with him regarding your taste during order your food so that they can understand and provide you food as per your taste. Food is taking little time to serve at your table because they are cooking freshly as per order by customer so this is a good thing. I have lots of memories with this restaurant and available staff thei and I love the food and restaurant environment. Simple restaurant with a wide variety of cuisine - Punjab, North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese. Both veg and non-veg. AC and non-AC seating. Good selection of beer and liquor. We had the tawa fry kingfish, garlic naan, chicken soup, and People’s Beer (brewed in Goa). All good. Beer was cold, and the food was hot. We sat in the non-AC section since the weather was pleasant and watched Indian dance videos while we ate. Good place for a simple meal at reasonable prices. Hand washing sink next to TV. Waiters were attentive. Some English spoken. Menus in English. My foreign credit card did not work, so I paid cash. No service charge added...
