Stayed in Goa for 3 weeks and discovered this gem of a place on our last night. Nestled in a quaint street just off the hustle and bustle of the Calangute-Candolim stretch the restaurant provides a very personalised experience. As you reach the place you are greeted by the smiling staff and Chef Soumyen himself. Before I get into the details of the food, let me give you a heads up that the conversation with the chef and his son are enjoyable, engaging and ensures that your dining experience is unparalleled to most of the other commercial restaurants around.

We started our dinner with Rum & Orange Prawns, followed by the Chicken liver Paté. For the main course we had the Spaghetti Bolognese & the Steak with mushroom sauce done medium rare ( calling out the medium rare - it was just perfect). The prawns were just the right amount of tenderness and seasoned really well. The Paté was paired with crisp crouton and delicious. The Spaghetti was just as I had imagined!! And the Steak just WOW! The steakhouses in Bangalore need to send in their chefs just to get trained on how to make a perfect Medium Rare from Chef Soumyen.

The icing on top was the chocolate mousse offered by the Chef to ensure we leave the place after having something sweet! Soft creamy and non gelatinous mousse!
