Copperleaf is an Upmarket and Very Popular Goan Specialty Seafood Restaurant with a couple of outlets in North Goa. We generally patronize their Main Outlet on Chogm Road in Alto-Porvorim and this is where we dined recently as well. It is a Large, Spacious Restaurant, Tastefully Designed & Comfortably Furnished with a Great Ambience, Very Good Food and Great Service too. There is Limited Car Parking available in the Compound and a Large Covered Waiting Area as well outside, in case you need to wait to get a table on days when it is packed. There is a Stylishly Designed Large Bar and Adequate Seating on the Ground Floor, which also has the Kitchen at the back and Clean Toilets too. On the First Floor, they have Seating as well and a kind of Private Dining Area too, where Large Groups can be accommodated. The entire Restaurant is Comfortably Air-conditioned, which makes you feel really relaxed, particularly when you go for Lunch on a Hot Goan Afternoon. They have a Large Selection of Drinks, Cocktails & Mocktails as well and their Food Menu is quite exhaustive too. Since they Specialize in their Goan Fish Thalis, this is what we generally eat here and have always been satisfied. All their Staff including the Doorman and Wait Staff are also very well trained and are Very Courteous and Hospitable, which gives you a Wonderful Feeling. This time, for Drinks we had Chilled Beer & Shandy with Roasted Peanuts Chaat for Starters, which was Very Good. For Lunch we had their Chonak (Giant Sea Perch) Fish Thali with Mussels Rawa Masala Fry on the side. The Chonak Thali was Really Massive. Apart from a Large Filet of Chonak Fish which was Expertly Rawa Masala Fried, there was also Goan Prawns Curry, Tisreo (Clams) Masala, Crab Masala, Dry Prawns Kismoor, Pumpkin Vegetable Masala, Salad, Solkadi, Pickle, Papad, Chapati and Steamed Rice, with Elaichi Banana and Gulab Jamun for Dessert. Both the Chonak Fish Thali as well as the Mussels Rawa Masala Fry were Excellently Prepared with Very Fresh Chonak Fish & Mussels and Very Tasty as well. Not only is the Ambience, Food and Service Very Good, but their Prices are also Reasonable, making the Copperleaf an Excellent Option for Lunch or Dinner, whenever you are...
Β Β Β Read moreOur hunt to try out a Multicuisine Dine in restaurant in Goa, led us to try copperleaf and they made us awestruck !! We were completely blown away by their services.. From hospitality to food to ambiance our experience was perfect to the T. Before entering the restaurant, our temperature was checked and safety rules were explained . On entering, we were greeted by a few gentlemen , Mr. Shelke - Head incharge waiter services Mr Edward - Restaurant and Bar Supervisor Pundalik sir - Restaurant and Bar Manager As the place was completely packed, they were involved thoroughly in guest services and personally taking care of all the guests with their teams. They have varied range of food and drinks to offer in their menu. What we went for were - Fish Tikka - The tender and boneless pieces of fish were so fresh and they tasted really amazing. Perfect Indian starter to start our evening with They also served us an Indian Paneer starter which is their speciality but I must say that it was one of the unique starters which I have had Chicken Red Pepper - As im fond of spicy food, I went for this one which literally blew my mind away ..It was nose watery spicy, the way I like it and the chicken thigh boneless pieces used were melting in the mouth Crab Sukka is their speciality and this was the dish which was our favourite and will stay one of our top eaten dishes for a long time..The crabs were tender, fresh and juicy and the magic was in the Sukka masala in which the crab were cooked and served. We just kept eating them till we finish all the crabs in that dish ! You can have the dish with bread or rice as well Rawa fried Pomfret is another dish I would recommend you trying here Dessert Serradurra is something we cherished in the end. Such a light dessert to have. It's a traditional Portuguese cream pudding which the Chef's make inhouse
Definitely a must visit place in Povorim. They are opening another branch in Panaji which will be bigger than the Porvorim one . Do try if you are around...
