Navtara Veg Restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

Last week, we went to this restaurant for lunch because it's completely vegetarian. But when we got there, we noticed the staff wasn't doing much. Even though it wasn't very crowded, people were waiting for their orders for a really long time. The same thing happened to us - they served our food an hour after we placed our order. Instead of good food after an hour, it was a big letdown because the food was cold and the chapati was really hard. We couldn't understand why it took them so long in the kitchen. They had plenty of staff, and there weren't too many customers, but they still took a lot of time, not just minutes, but hours.

So, if you have around 4 to 5 hours to spare just for a 15-minute lunch, then you can visit this restaurant. Otherwise, it's better to save your time and go somewhere else where the food is better. They'll serve you cold food after making you wait for an hour.

In the evening, we tried another branch of this restaurant, hoping the service would be better. We ordered one watermelon juice there, and guess what? The same thing happened again. They took half an hour just to bring one glass of juice. We also noticed that most customers were unhappy and arguing with the staff about the...

Pathetic service provider I have ever experienced . Cafe Bhosale was half shutter down so we went to this outlet of Navtara at around 10.25pm. My wife went to the loo. And we were seating to place the order but the waiter Ganesh was busy with the other customers. After some time Ganesh came to take the order, to start with we had ordered paneer tikka masala and cheese stuffed garlic naan. But he said only plain naan is available as the bhatti is cold. Roti or chapati is available. Then we went to the cashier MR. NARESH WHO WAS VERY RUDE, MISLEADING AND OVERSMART on counter. Requested him to give managers contact number as we were disappointed with the service. The cashier said he doesn't have managers number. Then I saw the managers number on no smoking board, called him and explained him the entire scenario.

IT WAS NOT ABOUT THE FOOD BUT ABOUT THE COMMUNICATION, BEHAVIOUR, HOSPITALITY TOWARDS THE CUSTOMER.

NAVTARA HOTEL CHAINS THIS PORVORIM OUTLET IS THE WORST. WE HAD ALSO ENJOYED OUR MEAL IN THE OTHER OUTLETS WHICH WERE GOOD.

Well the service was pretty shocking as compared to the always packed Mapusa branch. We ordered 3 rotis, got 4,charged for 4. Fresh lime SODA was ordered, got fresh lime water instead. Tried using my cc, swiped TWICE, it didn't get charged, explanation given was maybe its not an international one, 🤔, I didn't argue, used my debit card, still didn't go thru, paid cash eventually.

October 05, 2019 (Now 1 *) in the AC section. Today we ordered Puri Bhaji (2 plates) and a Cheese Pav Bhaji. We weren't given any choice of Bhaji (asin the waiters used to ask, Alsande / potato / patad bhaji / mixed. The waiter just got us Mixed Bhaji. We had to return it as it was absolutely cold. I ordered the Puri Bhaji hoping the puris would be hot, the waiter only replaced the Bhaji with slightly warmer Bhaji. Even the Pav Bhaji looked a burnt color. The table on either side of our table were dirty and when I told the waiter on our way out, he said please complaint to the red tie guys at the counter as we don't have cleaning staff so I did.. The cashier was busy on the phone and the other guy I finally told was more concerned in sorting parcels.
