Regenta Central Imperial Candolim — Hotel in Goa

We once again had the pleasure of staying at Regenta Imperial, and can't say enough about what a wonderful experience it was. All seemed better than before, from the moment we walked through the doors till we said Bye-Bye Goa, was greeted with warmth & hospitality, pampered with food and chef's attention, welcomed with the same smiles all over... that set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The hotel's staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly stood out. Whether it was the reception team, the housekeeping staff, or the restaurant servers, everyone was friendly, professional, and eager to assist. I chose our favourite room which again was clean and beautifully appointed. I could tell that the hotel takes great pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort. Dining at the hotel was truly a delight. The food at the restaurant was exceptional, especially the breakfast, what one needs a live-tea-stall, loved the masala tea boiled in front of us with a smiley Chef.....the best moment....amazing..... The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and amenities, making it an ideal choice for travelers looking to explore the area. I can't thank the team at Regenta Central Imperial enough for making our stay so memorable. It's clear that they are dedicated to providing a top-notch experience for their guests. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay in the area. Thank you once again for an incredible stay. I'll certainly be returning in the future! Our experience at Regenta Central Imperial was really bad.

• The staff here is really unprofessional and isn't trained well. They do not even care to greet on meeting.

• Housekeeping is so much better in any of the local hotel stays that we did not expect unclean rooms from a brand like Regenta.

• ⁠On asking for water, the staff comes to the room and asks for the empty bottle first and then goes and refills the bottle, despite telling them that we have an infant with us that gets disturb by them coming and ringing the bell again and again.

• ⁠The breakfast options were very limited for the kind of price this hotel charges for its rooms. There are so many better options in the same price range in Goa itself.

• On using the swimming pool with our family (5 people) we were only given 3 towels and told that they don't have more towels.

• At the time of booking we were told that on the last day we would get packed breakfast before leaving the hotel early morning, we requested them to give us bread and butter instead of sandwiches to which they agreed, but later they packed us sandwiches and the excuse they gave was "Ma'am bread wasn't available" ( As if the sandwiches are not made of bread🤷🏻‍♀️)

From day 1 of our stay we couldn't understand the lame excuses this hotel made up for everything. Reviewing this because would not like others to waste their precious money on such hotels just because they trust the...

Attention: There is one-star only because there wasn’t an option to give any lesser.

I recently chose to stay at the Regenta Imperial Hotel, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While the hotel carries a 4-star rating, it's evident that it's on a downward spiral, soon to become a 2-star establishment.

One of the most glaring issues was the inexcusable delays at the reception during room allocation. Despite arriving at the designated check-in time, we were made to wait for an unreasonably long period, which was both frustrating and inconvenient.

Moreover, the staff's demeanor was nothing short of disappointing. Arrogance and rudeness seemed to be the norm, rather than the exception. Their lack of courtesy and professionalism was evident in every interaction, leaving us feeling unwelcome and unvalued as guests.

The overall service was nothing short of pathetic. Requests were met with indifference, and it was evident that there was a lack of attention to detail.

In light of my experience, I find it hard to believe that this establishment currently holds a 4-star status. Unless there are significant improvements in the management, staff training, and overall service quality, it's highly likely that Regenta Imperial Hotel is headed towards a 2-star fate. I would strongly caution prospective guests to consider other options before booking...
