Joe joe’s corner bar and restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

I would have given zero starts if I could! We found this cafe on our way and went in for snacking. While I was checking the menu card my brother asked the way to washroom and the waitress told to order first and then only he can access! We were shocked with her behaviour. So far we have been several places but never treated this way. Then we ordered and he used washroom and post paying the bill we showed the waitress the rule by the supreme court where the citizens have all rights to use washroom and drinking water even in a five star hotel. She wasn't even ready to listen and told that's the rule by the owner and she even rudely told to go and ask in a Taj hotel. I'm quite shocked with the arrogance and customer service this place is providing. And post these when I'm seeing the reviews most of the customers have faced similar treatment. For whoever is the owner please learn to behave with the customers properly and even after lot of similar reviews there is no action by the owner to rectify the mistakes. This clearly shows how arrogant they are. I must also say food was decent but their behaviour to customers want me to never suggest...

Visited Joe Joe’s Corner this evening with my family, I’m in my 9th month pregnancy and I must say we were all stunned by their female staff’s (Nepali/ north east) rudeness and arrogant response who was at the bar counter when I requested her to show me the way to the washroom. She responded with no courtesy or explanation saying that they do not have washroom in the restaurant and that they tell the customers to go outside the restaurant if at all required. Very sad impression to have this encounter at the most highlight area in Sinquerim, we left the restaurant without dinning in and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to go...

The Govt of India has given out a circular about using the washrooms or accessing rest rooms, without asking any questions. This shameless place rejected the request of my 3 female friends from using the rest room. They told us to sit in the restaurant and order something and then we can use the restroom. It was emergency for one of them, as she was having her periods. I don't know how heart less the people can be, and how much money minded people can become. When they can treat tourist like this, they will not even care of their customers who pay. Never going to suggest this...
