If you are just passing by then you can enter the restaurant from the road not from the beach. The enterance to the Taj is just last 7 rivers brewery and the nomad. As you enter the hotel complex just tell the staff you want to dine at the restaurant. You will be asked to walk a short distance and go through some security and then you are transported on buggies to yumour destination. That is an experience where if you are not used to being treat like royalty then you will definately enjoy. After wandering past all the amazing villas and trees and grass you come out to the restaurant which overlooks the sea and sequin beach and fort. It is top marks for the view and the restaurant is very nicely presented. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food is very good. The toilet facilities are also good however you have to walk a very short distance away from the restaurant less than 20 paces away. We sat out there for hours and the staff did not mind our lenghtly stay and was not pushey for the table. We was able to enjoy the suset and how nice it was to see familys sat out also enjoying the food drinks and magnificinet views. Yes you have to pay for quality and with it being a large hotel and huge eating restaurant I think the cooks and staff do an amazing job, I could not fault the food or the friendliness of the staff. We even was approached from a staff member who recognised us from a different chain the nomad, he was so happy to see us and for are return. The waiting staff was really greatful and appreciative of us spending time to talk to them and they enjoyed our humour. We had a great time looking out to sea watching the beach shacks come to life with all thier illuminations and watching families friends all sat out in the sand below watching the views. You feel that extra special as it turns to nighttime where the sequin fort and surrounding hotels are light up it is stunning one of the best locations in Goa and a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the main road and the honking of horns, so peaceful and very romantic. Thankyou for having our hospitality and we look forward to returning. Don't be put off paying slightly higher prices that the beach shacks or the main road restaurants as this tops them all. Yes you might be able to find a restaurant that may do that top quality food but it will not have anywhere near the facilities views or peace and tranquility. Want to eat here and watch the sunset every night until my time to leave goa is up. Recommed to try and afterwards you can exit the gate and have a stroll on the beach, there's droplet nightclub near by and also many beach shacks that are that uperclass from candlim beach, so if your heading back that way take a look on the beach and be mesmorised by the restaurant you have just been to and the extra special touch they provide. Thankyou agin and can't...
Read moreI recently stayed at Caravela Beach Resort in Goa, and it was a wonderful experience, largely due to the exceptional service. The resort itself was beautiful, but what truly stood out was the staff’s attentiveness and hospitality.
A special shout-out to Ankit at the dining area—his thoughtfulness and attention to detail were beyond words. He went above and beyond to ensure I had gluten- and dairy-free options, making my dining experience seamless and enjoyable. Santosh from housekeeping also provided excellent service, ensuring our room was always immaculate and comfortable.
Radhika and Rabi at breakfast were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The breakfast spread had a good variety, which we appreciated. However, we found the Pan-Asian and à la carte dinner options to be quite bland and lacking in flavor.
Despite this, the outstanding service truly made our stay memorable. The warmth and dedication of the staff created such a positive experience, and I would highly recommend Caravela Beach Resort for its...
Read moreTheir ambience is 5 star. My 3 star rating is just for their buffet. If I would have taken a la carte then I would have given 5 star.
We took our buffet lunch there. Google doesn't show that it is open for lunch but it is open for lunch. You can call to Taj Village and get your booking done. They have very beautiful ambience. This restaurant is just near sea beach. You can enjoy the beauty of beach. We didn't like few things about buffet only. They have just 1 non veg starter and 1 veg starter. Ideally for any buffet with 1500 rupees plus taxes, you can expect minimum 2-3 starters for non-veg. Their second issue is with service timing if you have taken buffet. We asked for butter nan and we got it after 15 minutes. We observed that those who ordered a la carte were getting the order in time. I suggest not to take buffet over there. We were not satisfied...
