Just Lobo's Family Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Goa

We had a very bad experience at this place....we 6 people went there for breakfast but it was a bad decision for us to visit this place.....From the food to service to the behaviour of the Lady Owner everything was pathetic.....We ordered breakfast for 6 people and we understand that we ordered so much and it will take time so we informed the server to just bring tea and coffee first and the remaining order he can bring late but surprisingly it took more than 40min for them to serve us tea and coffee.....Upon asking about the status of our order which is our rite to ask they were getting irritated and were giving stupid excuses.....The lady owner was right there standing and looking at us and was noticing everything but she didn't even bother to come and ask us what the problem was....Then after almost 50 min they started bringing dishes one by one and we informed the server that we had placed an order for 1 sandwich also instead of rechecking he started arguing with us so we told him to show us the paper where he wrote all of our order when he checked it was mentioned right there then he realised and rushed towards the kitchen to place order for sandwich.....we ordered bread toast it took them 45 min to inform us that there toaster is not working..... overall experience was very pathetic and disappointing....the worst part is the way lady owner was looking down on us as if she doesn't want us to be there.......if you don't want to ruin your day then please avoid visiting this place as nobody was professional there and noone cares for customer service.....I would recommend the Udupi restaurant just besides this place was much better they were serving authentic south...

Ambiance: We visited this place for dinner, and on first impression, we like the place. It's located on the main road so has easy access. It has decent seating arrangements with music(most importantly it was not too loud so you can talk to each other). Overall, we liked the place for its location and minimalism, can't comment on the daytime though.

Food: To be honest, I have found the food was just slightly above average but all the items were valued for money. We've ordered only veg items so can't comment on non-veg, from Munchow Soup, Devil Paneer, and Honey Chilly Potato to Gobi Manchurian with Veg Fried Rice. We liked the food overall.

Staff: This is not a premium restaurant, even though I have found the staff well-trained and courteous. They helped us in all manners and also listen to us carefully. They have a decent knowledge of each food item and even suggested to us Goan desserts. One thing I also should mention is that they also accept song requests if you have any, all in all, the staff was quite polite and humble, I liked that.

Washroom: We have visited both the handwash area and restrooms, and both were neat and clean, and properly located, exactly the way I prefer. Away from the main dining/seating area.

Verdict: In my personal opinion, you can visit this place for a quick meal to full fledge dinner, I have seen many big families coming here for dining, so I guess it is a popular hangout place for locals in that area. I would love to...

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with this restaurant, which left a sour taste and experience not just from the price of the food but from the shockingly dishonest price for a seasonal product. I was charged more than double the price for a seasonal product that is available at numerous other establishments for a third of the cost. It was disheartening to learn that it was the restaurant's owner who personally set these exorbitant prices, misleading customers about the value of their offerings.

Upon realizing the unfair price discrepancy, I attempted to address the issue directly with the owner, seeking some form of justification or rectification. However, my efforts were met with evasion and a lack of accountability. Instead of facing the situation, the owner chose to hide behind her staff, sending a male employee to deal with the confrontation. This act of avoidance speaks volumes about the establishment's integrity and the owner's unwillingness to stand by her pricing policies.

To fellow customers considering visiting this restaurant, I urge you to think twice. The combination of unjustifiable pricing and the owner's lack of transparency and accountability should serve as a red flag. There are plenty of other establishments that offer not only fair prices but also a level of honesty and service that respects their patrons.
