I recently had the pleasure of dining at "Kanha Pure Veg Family Restaurant," and I must say, it was a delightful culinary experience. This gem of a restaurant, run by a talented Rajasthani boy, truly exceeded my expectations in every way.
One of the standout features of Kanha Pure Veg is their commitment to freshness. Every dish is prepared from scratch when you place your order, ensuring that you receive the highest quality of food possible. Despite this dedication to freshness, the service is impressively quick. You won't have to wait long before your delicious meal is brought to your table, which is a testament to their efficient kitchen staff.
Now, let's talk about the food. The real star of the show here is their veg thali. It's a culinary masterpiece that showcases a wide variety of vegetarian dishes, each bursting with flavor and authenticity. The thali includes a mix of Rajasthani and North Indian specialties, with a range of curries, dals, vegetables, and bread. The flavors are rich and robust, and you can truly taste the love and passion that goes into preparing each dish.
What makes Kanha Pure Veg even more appealing is its value for money. If you happen to be near Candolim Beach, this restaurant offers an excellent dining option without breaking the bank. The portion sizes are generous, and you'll leave feeling both satisfied and content.
The ambiance of the restaurant is simple and inviting, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere for a relaxed meal with family or friends. The staff is friendly, attentive, and willing to accommodate special dietary requests, making it an ideal place for everyone, including vegans and vegetarians.
In conclusion, Kanha Pure Veg Family Restaurant is a hidden gem in the Candolim Beach area. With its dedication to freshness, mouthwatering veg thali, quick service, and wallet-friendly prices, it's a must-visit for anyone looking to savor authentic Rajasthani and North Indian flavors. I can't wait to return and try more of their delectable offerings. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this culinary delight if you're...
Read moreOh, where do I even begin? The food? Purely average. Honestly, I’ve had better meals at a food court, but let's not get distracted. The real showstopper was our server, Ankush, who somehow managed to serve us with the kind of attitude you'd expect from a Michelin-starred waiter, but without the skill, charm, or, well, any actual reason for the attitude. It was like a masterclass in arrogance with a hint of ‘I’m too important to be here.’ 😆
Don't get fooled by all the hype around this place – it’s clearly just smoke and mirrors. The owner clearly doesn’t care about much, especially not the customers, and don't even get me started on the pricing. You’ll get charged an arm and a leg for few garlic clove added to your parantha. Must be gold dust, right?
To be fair, the paranthas were decent, but let’s talk about those gravies. The Paneer Tikka Masala and Paneer Jwalamukhi – well, that’s just a sad excuse for some cheesy sauce with chunks of paneer thrown in. It's like they ran out of ideas and just thought, "Hey, let’s add cheese. That’ll fix it." 😆
In short, if you’re looking for a quick meal, sure, it’s fine – but be prepared to deal with an overpaid waiter who thinks he's got a 5-star personality and a owner who couldn't care less. This review isn’t for the owner – trust me, he won’t notice. It’s for you, the poor soul reading this....
Read moreHad the worst experience at this place for breakfast. We visited kanha restaurant in candolium area. The server was extremely rude and had an attitude which was extremely unfriendly. Even with no crowd, they managed to shuffle our order and served our parathas to people who were known to them even though they arrived later than us. Two cups of tea took them 45 mins to brew. The parathas when they arrived were the worst I've ever eaten for an eatery that claimed it is their speciality. When we asked them why did our food take so much time, their reply was that ' we never asked them how much time it takes to prepare food, we take a lot of time to prepare food as nothing is ready, we have to prepare everything from scratch' . When we asked them why did they not inform us about the time, they told us, we never asked them about it. such pathetic attitude specially when you're eating with children is absolutely appalling. I'm sure with this attitude and the quality of their food the place won't be in business much longer. So if you really do not want to have a bad day and eat quality food, this place is one that should be avoided at all cost. I wish I could give them zero stars. Even one star rating...
