To begin with, we entered the room allotted to us. It had a pathetic bad pungent smell. The room was like a matchbox size. As per the description and pictures shown to us, we were under the impression that we will be more than comfortable however, it was no where close to comfortable stay. we immediately asked for an upgrade. The hotel staff kept us waiting for about 20 mins and then showed us 2 rooms. Both rooms had the same condition as before. the second room he showed was yet to be cleaned and he offered us the same. It has two separate beds. They said they do not have any vacant room available at the moment and the next day they will upgrade us talking about the beds, they said they will join it and we would not have any problem. We waited for about 45 mins for them to clean the room. During this entire mess, we asked the hotel to cancel our booking and refund the amount. They clearly refused to do so. As if we were forced to stay in that hotel ONLY. The room was cleaned and he handed over the room keys.We entered the room. It felt okay from the top but the wall corners had huge webs. The shower area had dead earthworms and fungi corners. The wash basin side wall had small webs filled with dust. The room was more like a pest home. I had a two day stay in the hotel. However, ignoring all of this we got ready and left to cheer up our mood. They was no valet. We had to get our car all by ourselves. We came back to our room. While sleeping, each of us were sinking in the gaps. It was a terrible night. We couldn't sleep properly. Next day, we somehow woke up and went to have breakfast, and let me tell you, I was 1000% sure they aren't capable of anything. The food quality, taste was worst. We left from the breakfast area, came to our rooms, got ready and left for the day. Again no valet. Before leaving we gave our room keys to the receptionist and asked him to get it cleaned and specifically the bathroom. When we came back, voila, instead of removing the earthworms there were new dead earthworms in the bathroom and the rest was same. I immediately called the house-keeping they didn't bother to answer. The second time I called and summoned the person who cleaned the bathroom. Someone else comes and I tell them to get it cleaned however, they failed to do so. We didn't't even get an upgrade as promised. The other day we had 10:20 flight from north Goa so we woke up at 05:30 AM got ready and by 6:40 we were ready with our bags packed and ready to go. We called the receptionist to help us with the luggage boy nonetheless nobody answered. We called six times. We kept the room open keys in the room and came walking towards the reception with our luggage. There was only one boy and when we told them we were calling 6 times and no one answered he clearly denied to it. Again no valet only the security guy came and kept our luggage in our car and literally ran away.

It is my humble request to everyone, that any of you who desires to have a fun filled, peaceful, holiday/vacation. There are ample of options available rather than this hotel. The next time I visit Goa I will not choose a stay like this. Nor I would recommend it to anyone. It was a worst and horrible experience. My husband and I came back home disappointed only with regard...

Our stay in Whispering Palms was really lovely and we would love to come back again! All the staff was extremely hospitable, helpful, kind and attentive. We checked-in shortly before midnight and they immediately offered to make us dinner.

Dining in this hotel was a great experience. We had full board and it was a really good choice. There was always plenty of food, a wide variety to choose from, changing every day. You could also ask anytime and the cooks would make you something special, be it special soup, a less spicy version of anything or just boiled vegetables. And of course, the tastes were just amazing! Breakfast always included (among many other things) idlis, sambar and dosas.

Our room was nicely furnished, spacy and airy. Everything functioned well, even Wifi in the room was very good. Only the bathroom was quite small but it was not a big problem. They did very thorough cleaning every day, the cleaner was very kind.

Whispering Palms has a swimming pool around which there were enough comfortable sunbeds and you can also get pool towels there. The beach is a short walk away from the hotel, passing around several street clothes shops. We came at the beginning of October which is not the main season yet, so the beach was all empty, no sunbeds or bars but at least it was not very crowded.

To sum it up, we could hardly find anything we were not content with and we would definitely recommend everyone planning to visit Goa to stay in this hotel. It is really worth it! Thank you to all the staff who made our holiday...

I’m very much disappointed. We have booked this hotel for 4 days with a group of more than 30 people.

We had in total 14 rooms and I must say the service we have received is very poor.

Big issues here is Wi-Fi as it keeps on turning off and they have a voucher system, where every now and then you have to walk down from the front reception to request for a new code or reset.

If you ever order an fish from the menu then expect almost 2 hours for it to come to your table, when asked why staff reply that you should of come earlier.

Any issues you have with your stay are not treated as it should be, for example my shower wasn’t working and the reception informed me as the hotel is fully book not much can be done so please adjust with the other rooms we have until another day and will get the issue fixed.

Room 164, besides builders were renovating another room so during the day no possible to rest in your room due to noise level.

Kitchen staff constantly banging as if your in a School and the bell ringing. Well later I found out it was for nan right next to one of our room early morning and late night. When we requested change of room, this didn’t happen until the 3rd day so slept in that room for two nights with no proper rest.

3am people playing hardcore music with the permission of the hotel, when challenged the reception they said nothing can be done as the group is departing in the morning so next night we would 100% get a better sleep that came...

The worst ever property in Goa. Don’t even think of staying in this property. Poor interiors, bad quality rooms, foul smell, no lights in the room, broken tiles in the BEST CATEGORY ROOMS at this property. The outside table for coffee tee is stained badly. Adding the breakfast review: The staff doesn’t greets you even a good morning, the food was okay, nothing out of the sky. The dining area is dirty and dull, servers don’t really get you anything on request at the table. For Omelettes and Dosa, you need to stand in a long 15 minute que, more felt like a banquet hall wedding food counters. Only three people who are warm enough was the chef at the dinner, the violin player who atleast came to the table and asked us about the morning and shared a smile and the housekeeping manager. Worst people: 1. Alush, the front desk manager who is arrogant, disrespectful and means no hostility 2. Maya: The GM, who doesn’t bothers to call, meet or speak to the dissatisfied customers. There isn’t any kids menu or special requests which are considered for kids. Request for mattresses weren’t asked while checking in. The hotel had taken a 100 men group booking, which occupied the entire pool area hence one could not even take wife and kid for a swim in the pool. 100 drunk men dancing in from you doesn’t makes it a family resort at all. It’s an old property which hasn’t been upgraded or renovated, hence if you are quality conscious then don’t invest here.

We have booked 4 rooms for 4 night 5 days from May 27th to 31st 2019. As we arrived on airport, they send cab to pick us. At resort we were welcomed with soft drink. Check-in Process done quite Fast. Reception is quite busy as so many other guest are in Que. Two of my friends reached at resort early in morning but they give early check in. I really appreciate that. They have upgraded our balcony room to Studio room. Thanks to Mr. Abdul for Upgrading our room. Our rooms allotted are 408,412,414 and 415 all the room have personal garden view. Rooms are very spacious neat and clean bathroom are very hygienic. Garden is very beautiful. Food is very delicious. Great Service friendly staff. Buffet breakfast and Dinner have so many options to choose. You get both Veg and Non veg Option. In breakfast, i personally recommended live omelet made by chef “Geeta” is so delicious, Must try.. Over all experience is good, Only one thing needed to improve HOUSEKEEPING service. On the day we arrive, we consume beer can from mini bar. After that, housekeeping forgot to refill mini bar until we check out. At last day, they apologize for that glitch but that is no point. As resort is highly recommended by others. Management should get eye on it. Need to improve Service other than the resort is beautiful the entire amenity and the staff is good. It was a pleasant stay at Whispering Palms.

We always stay at South Goa's property and this time we decided to explore North Goa and tried Whispering Palm. I must say that we weren't disappointed at all and everything from pickup to check-in was pretty smooth. The swimming pool was size is adequate and the best part is the accessibility of Candolim beach behind the resort - just 5 mins walk. The shacks and beds at beach are awesome. The beds generally cost Rs. 200 and it is waived if we order food or drinks from shack. Just outside the resort we can get bike or car on rent - 2 Wheeler shooter like Activa costs Rs. 300 per day and Hatchback Car costs around Rs 1000 per day excluding petrol. The rooms are nicely decorated with adequate toiletries. There was an issue with AC in the room and Ms. Rashmi Giri from Guest relation department has made sure to resolve the issue at the earliest and done the follow-up as well to see if we are happy! The food is good but more lean towards western taste as I believe 80% guests are foreigners. But the chef make sure to ask us every day if he can make something special for us! Also the shacks on the beach has good options - even though if you are a vegetarian. Ankush and team has made sure to entertain my kid at the play area and we had great Table Tennis matches:) I would definitely recommend Whispering Palm if you are seeking a beach side resort at North Goa.
