I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the most authentic and delectable food at a hidden gem of a restaurant. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I knew I was in for a culinary adventure like no other.
Ambiance: The restaurant's cozy and rustic atmosphere instantly transported me to the heart of the cuisine's origin. The warm color palette, traditional decor, and subtle background music perfectly complemented the dining experience.
Service: The staff's passion for the cuisine shone through in their attentive and knowledgeable service. They were more than willing to explain each dish's origins, ingredients, and cooking techniques, making the experience all the more immersive. I specially wanted to thank Athem, Angam and the restaurant owner couple. They are the kindest!
Appetizers: The array of starters was a feast for the senses. The flavors were rich, distinct, authentic and evocative of the northeast culinary heritage. Each bite was a harmonious blend of spices, herbs, and textures that left me craving more.
Main Course: The main course was a true masterpiece. The authenticity of the ingredients and the careful execution of each dish showcased the chef's expertise. The flavors were bold, yet balanced, and the presentation was a work of art.

He takes the time to go around the restaurant, chatting with customers and personally recommending dishes and cooking them for you in no time. His warm presence adds to the charm of the place.
The ambience is cozy and reminiscent of a little village restaurant, making you feel right at home. One of the most fascinating aspects of this restaurant is Livingstone’s kitchen garden, where he grows plants with leaves that smell like fish— or kaffir lime to chives....you name it....truly a unique and delightful touch.
This has quickly become my favourite restaurant and cuisine in Goa. The food is delicious and packed with flavor. If you are lucky enough to catch their set menus, you are introduced to a world of strange but tasty ingredients like snail, pumpkin shoots, ferns, wild mushrooms, pomelo, pork innards...the list goes on. My favourite dishes include the smoked beef salad, pomelo salad, bamboo shoot and pork, and pork stir-fried with vegetables.
