Another standout dish was the sticky rice, which was cooked to perfection—fluffy, tender, and carrying a subtle sweetness that paired remarkably well with all the other dishes. The smoky flavor of the pork, combined with the earthy notes of the bamboo shoots, created an unforgettable dish that left me craving more. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring I left the table completely satisfied.

Super chill place to go and experience some North eastern food if you haven't already! Will blow your top off with some crazy flavourfully spiced food with most of their ingredients locally sourced but treated with the skills of cooking techniques native to the North-eastern tribes India. From smoking meats for flavour and preservation to King Chilli spiced Currys and salads. To keep it as authentic as possible even being so far from home the owner Livingston and his family put in loads of effort to transport certain ingredients from their home towns and bring it here to Goa so that we can experience the true essence of their cooking. Fermented soya bean and king chilli even their famous rice beer is available there to have at.... and it's made IN-house. They run it like a big family that's the best...

It's been months that me and my friends have eaten multiple times in meiphung, didn't got to sit down and appreciate in written as we were travelling here an there. So I want to share our experiences, been away from home and getting to know about this place is a blessing. Everything is perfect here, getting raw king chilly as a compliment was just amazing 🥺beef and pork curries are out of the world. Friendly environment and such kind hearted owner and their staffs. One fine evening one of my friend got unwell and couldn't join us for dinner, getting to know that, they prepaid her some hot soup and boiled curries in addition. This place is rightly a home away from home. You cannot miss this place if you're northeastern and is in Goa. I'm dying to visit this place again. Hopefully...
