There is a small restaurant named Peth Pooja which charges double the price for everything.
Once I ordered Pav Bhaji here â in Goa, every small restaurant serves it for âč50ââč60, but here they charged me âč120. At that moment, I decided never to visit this hotel again.
But one day, some guests came to my house and they wanted Aloo Paratha. Since this Peth Pooja hotel was nearby, I had no choice but to go there. I ordered one plate of Aloo Paratha, and to my shock, they told me the price was âč180.
In Goa, you can get Aloo Paratha anywhere for âč110ââč120, but here they charged âč180. This restaurant is charging customers way too much money, and the taste is not even good.
My request to all tourists visiting Goa â please donât come to this restaurant even by mistake after checking Google. And my humble request to Goan locals â please also avoid this place. The taste is bad, the service is very slow, and the prices are like a 5-star hotel.

Read moreWhile passing by, I happened to come across this place conveniently located alongside the road. The indoor seating area was somewhat limited. They have arranged seatings outdoor as well. I decided to try their pav bhaji, and I was pleasantly surprised by the unique twist they gave to this classic dish. The pav bhaji was prepared in the Rajasthani style of cooking, which added a new dimension to the flavors. The taste was just as delightful as the regular pav bhaji, with the added bonus of finding generous chunks of vegetables that were incredibly tender and melted in my mouth. The bread served with the dish was nicely buttered, complementing the flavors perfectly. To accompany my meal, I opted for a kulhad chai, which was also enjoyable. Although it would have been even better if the chai was served in a traditional mud cup. Overall, it was a lovely place to have an evening snack, and I definitely recommend it. I look forward to returning and trying out their other menu...
Read moreWalking into Pet Puja Paratha House, I was immediately enveloped in the aroma of spices. Variety of food options available at minimal prices. From classic chaat to flavorful samosas, hearty chholey bhatoore and a variety of parathas, they have something for every palate. I particularly enjoyed their samosas and chholey, in fact, they have the best samosas in Goa. Also, one standout dish was definitely their kachori - a true specialty that shouldn't be missed.
But what truly sets it apart is the personal touch that the owner - Kishore Sir, brings to every aspect of the dining experience. His passion for food and commitment to quality are evident in every dish served, making each meal a memorable culinary journey..
Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by for a taste of authentic Indian flavors and a dose of heartfelt hospitality. Thank you Sir for sharing your love of Indian cuisine with...
