Ratnasagar Family Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Goa

Don't get attracted to the word Udupi, the board outside is Udupi ratnasagar restaurant, but the hotel in has no affiliation with udipi there menu card is in the name of Ratnasagar. Kind of scam, While Udupi is completely veg. here they sell both(V/NV) they are selling everything for Extra premium, food quality is pathetic. They sell 2 idlis for Rs.85. Idlis solid has rock. They don't have proper restaurant they are in the middle of multitude of stores with no walls around (Open restaurant), whole lot of Noise.When I was to the hotel, no one was to. I should have understood it, but the name Udupi carried away. I'm new to Goa, there business runs on us.

⭐⭐⭐Also, I don't know where to share this. So, I'm appending here, the Roadside Ice vendors in and around the Church are to be carefully dealt with, my personal experience with them was. I approached Amul, chose amul Frostik(Stick) from the chart, he opened the storage looked for it, picked one and unwrapped the cover, thrown the cover in dustbin and gave the Stick to me. I was suspicious, and asked him why you have unwrapped and asked for the cover from the bin he was looking for any of the cover from amul, has he don't happen to get one, he gave a cover of local brand which they are dealing in the name of amul, a great scam and I did get to see a whole lot cover of local brand who was aiding this seller. When confronted him, he tried to convince me that the local icecream maker is subsidiary of Amul but has no mention of it, how skillful at deceiving. Then I particularly mentioned that I need the particular stick of amul without cover getting opened and he agreed and gave one but this time they burnished the price area, so clueless of the price. I offered him the price of 70 he demanded. But the original price is Rs.35. See how great...

Happened to have our lunch today 26th December 2019 here, we were searching for an Non Vegeterian restraraunts in this area but all of them are closed because we were there around 4 PM, with no choise we went ahead with this one and surprisingly this restaurant has non veg as well, because all of the sagar restraunts used to be a Vegetarian restraraunts, v were so happy by seeing their non veg options, here is my detailed view Location - Located on the prime location and it is on the circle, so no need to worry to search for this restaurant, just look one round and u will see this restaurant Ambiance - Ambiance here was ok, they have separate dinning areas for Veggies and non vegies, surprisingly they have separate kitchens,well that's wat its written there and not sure how they r really following it Staff Behaviour - The one who served for us is calm and polite, though we had changed our items couple of times, he was calm and polite Taste - The most important one, we have ordered for 🐔 schewan fried ries, 🐔 noodles, tandoori 🐔 and a plain dosa, v liked 🐔 noodles and tandoori 🐔, plain dosa was horrible and am not sure when exactly they prepared it, schewan 🐔 fried rice was very average as they added lots of 🍅 sauce, overall not up to the mark i would say Price - Costly as like any other restraraunts in Goa Overall - I haven't seen much of choises in this area hence we left out with very little options, so u can give a try, keep u r expectations as minimum, so tht u will not end up with disappointment PS - Most of the times, this crowded, so prepared to wait...

Been to this place expecting a descent breakfast. The first impressions that Anyone may get from this restaurant are terrible. The place is full of staff that fool around and stare at you from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The staff and management look like their least bothered about getting the place clean and to the standard where people can dine. The restaurant smells bad and moreover looks all dusty.

Leave alone the cleanliness and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The prices of the most basic dishes are way over what they should be.

Coming back to my experience it was simply appalling. We ordered some soft drinks to which the bottles and bottle caps where dusty and also had dust on them it looked like the bottles had been left for few years and no one has bothered to clean them either. Even the sugar offered didn't look right and had black substances in it when complained about it to the waiter he said it's because of the climate and the weather.

Even the food that was ordered took forever even when they has so much staff and we were the only table in the restaurant. The "puri" had left overs of noodles which just annoyed me as our whole experience was destroyed. Even after all this fuss with the manager he has no reaction no change to the bill neither was there an apology given. I sincerely request inspection of this restaurant as it has serious hygiene issues.
