I must have visited this place like a hundred times. I like almost everything about this place. I have visited this place with friends, family, colleagues, etc. Now, lets start with the review. Ambience: The restaurant is quiet neat and clean. Situated in patto area, you do not get to hear the rush of the traffic on the road compared to other restaurants which are located in crowded areas. There are two floors where you can sit for the meal. I prefer the ground floor one near the windows since it feels really refreshing. The seats on top floor do not have the privilege of the outside view though. Lunch times are very very crowded here, so if you are going out with a large group of your colleagues, but also have to reach to work quickly, reach there by 1. Its paid parking everywhere on patto and there is no issue of parking in this area. Food: Frankly speaking, i like every dish that is prepared here. I usually go for fish thali, which is really good. The fried fish is really good and fresh in thali. Prawns/Veg biryani are served with not only raaita but also served with another spicy gravy. I have had crabs here, again superb. It took us actually 1.5hours to finish them. There are many crabs provided in xacuti or any other crab dishes. Fish fingers are the best here. From soups to desserts, all very good. In desserts, caramel custard is the best one i have ever had. Overall, the food here is very delicious and available at a reasonable rate. Service: During lunch time, the restaurant is quite crowded and as crowd increases, the service becomes slightly slower(except if you have ordered thali).Thalis are served very quickly. Usually, quite friendly staff. Overall, service is good.

Ordered Chonak Fish Thali this time. First thing that I noticed is the near negligible options available for a Thali. I have been here multiple times but everytime only Chonak Thali is available, earlier i thought could be a one off thing. But recently the times I have visited only Chonak Thali is available. So i have no option here. About the thali, various items available in the thali. The fish was very oily. Curry and tisryeo are delicious. Also salad is missing in their thalis. Old Review: Had a visit again. The prices are expensive here. I had tried their Kebab, Roti and Green Salad. The price doesn't justify the items they serve. A Green Salad itself costed i believe 180 something. Kebab was okay. Looking at the menu, anything outside of Thali seems waste. Old Review: The Fish Thali was great. You can't go wrong with a restaurant that's been a really well known place for years. Waiting time was less compared to other Ritz outlets. Somedays it's crowded because it's located near EDC.

I went to Fontainhas on a Sunday only to have my lunch in Viva Panjim and a walk in Fontainhas. Unfortunately, The Viva Panjim restaurant was closed as some interior work was going on. The staffs were kind enough to suggest this pace. So we headed here after a long walk in Fontainhas. We parked our near Monginis cake shop as there was no parking spot near by the restaurant. We went to an AC family room. The ambiance was good but washroom needs to be in check. It wasn't clean at all. This place is crowded. Luckily we got a seat as we entered the restaurant. But staff took few mins like 5-10 mins to clean the table. We had ordered for a Goan fish thali, Oyster rawa fry, prawns cafreal fry, Mutton lemon chilly, Prawn curry, Prawns Biriyani and some extra rice. Goan special cocktail was good. Try Fenny which is really good in Goa. Overall everything was good. But the prawn curry and the Goan fish thali here is too good! One of the must visit restaurant in Goa!

The place is an absolute feast to your pallete!! Starting off with the Butter garlic prawns, hands off their best dish being served !!! Cooked to absolute perfection with really falvourful cooking ! The porter masala, disclaimer- a bit too costly, is another banger. The spice mix was so good that were left wanting more! A must try for all the non fish lovers to finally get a taste of some really great fish! The biriyani was great but the star of the night was definitely the fish thali! Clams suke, crab curry, prawns curry, fish (ambotik??)curry, solekadhi and rawa fish fry, fish head curry, roasted pappad and semya kheer. It was just amazing how everything was a great fit here and I could not possibly find anything wrong here. The quantity was ample, the spices were on point, the variety of dishes were great. A huge shoutout to the entire team for such an amazing experience.

One of the best restaurants for the fresh , yummy tasty Fish Thali in the Goa. They have 5 branches in Goa out of which 3 are located in the Panjim city. We were group of 4 (2 couples) went twice for Lunch at the Ritz Classic Restaurant, Patto, Panjim. Both times we ordered Fish Thali and some additional sea food starters like Mackerel Fish Fry (Bangda Fry), Bombay Duck Fry (Ole Bombil Fry), Kingfish Masala Tava Fry (Surmai Masala Fry), Prawns Garlic. We also tried few veg dishes as one of us had Veg food preferences. Cheese Balls, Paneer Pakoda was really good in taste. Overall food quality and portion was sufficient, services was okay okay as this restaurant is always crowded so it’s always recommended to go early to get the availability of the seats and fish thali. Location: 4 / 5 Ambiance: 4 / 5 Service: 4 / 5 Food (Taste, Quality & Portion): 4 / 5 Staff: 4 / 5
