What a luck that I visited this place (LOL). I was staying in south Goa and somebody had recommended me to visit Johncy’s which is a neighbor of Rogers. Due to some reason Johncy’s was shutting early as they had some renovation work going on and I happen to visit Rogers. Though I was glad to visit this place, as the tables were laid right in front of the beach giving us cool breeze and the view, sound of the waves. It was a breathtaking experience to have a drink and munch on some tasty food with an amazing view. I really enjoyed the site and it gave me a peaceful time. The service of this place was not bad. See it’s a clear policy if you give the guy some money in advance who is serving you, he will give you a great service. I was astonished that this place even serves some amazing coffees. I just love coffee and I am very particular about it. I just loved the coffee of this place. It had a great taste, good texture and also good quantity Coming to food we tried some Chicken Malai Tikka: This was good in taste, very well cooked and not chewy. Prawns Chilly: This was ok in taste not very great but not bad. I guess I would have loved Prawns butter garlic better then Prawns chilly. The prawns taste was getting over powered by other things in Prawns chilly. Butter Garlic Naan (Wheat Naan): We made a request to him to give us wheat naan instead of Maida and he did it for us. Though it took some time but we really enjoyed it along with our drinks. Overall it was a pleasant place to sit and enjoy your drinks in a breezy atmosphere seeing the waves. People you must visit this place. This place also serves Hookah , so people who like having hookah would really enjoy it. All...
Read moreUsually I don't write a review, but this one forced me to do so and also 1 star because I cannot give 0. Very very bad hospitality and total money minded people. We walked in there and all the tent sittings were full but the service manager ensured us that if any of the tent sitting gets empty they will shift us. We believed them and ordered sitting at the other sitting arrangement. Due course of our dinner, 2 of the tents got emptied but they have not given us the tent. I kept on asking in between and they were saying if some other tent will get empty, they will shift us. By the time we finished the dinner and I talked to the service manager while leaving he said you were 2 people and would have not ordered much, but the other group to which they have given tent will order much more than us, so they have given the tent to them. Such a pathetic reply. I was really disappointed, if that was the case they shoud have not stopped us at the first place. I just wanted something special for my wife, which they completely screwed. Please note my advice if someone is going for some special occasion and want a special seating, please don't order before they make you seated. Don't fall for their...
Read moreThey have a lot of details on menu. We ordered chocolate waffle with chocolate ice cream, bhagsu cake, bannofee pie, avocado salad, jacket potatoes. . Avocado salad was great. But too expensive. . Bannofee pie was amazing. Must try. . Bhagsu cake can do a little better. . Jacket potatoes were cheesy and good. But no salt. ( Which we added ourselves). The steward misunderstood our requirement. We said , we don't want it completely bland. So add little chilly flakes. He got it done with so much green chilly paste along with red chilly flakes. Making our tongue and stomach burn. . Waffle was horrible. It was still battery inside. Not properly cooked. I've cream on top wasn't great either. It was as so bad, we fed it to dogs. . Ambience is good. Beach side tables. Candle light dinner. There was no music. Fortunately , the music played by neighbouring shack entertained us. . Service can be improved. There was a lot of confusion between them. They put extra bill for things we didn't order. After serving us for 1 long hour. The same guy comes and ask if we need a table while we were leaving. I understand, there'll be lot of customers. But still. How can someone forget faces in...
