This is one of those numerous road side shacks which you see along any road leading to a beach in Goa. In this case, Palolem beach. I went there only because the restaurant I was searching for ( as per Google) had apparently closed down and this was the closest open one since it was already getting late. The decor is tacky. The seats uncomfortable. The food took ages to arrive which seemed a bit odd as we had asked for a fish thali which doesn't need the meticulous slow cooking you would expect in a gourmet cafe. When it did come, the food was underwhelming to say the least. The waiter was not the least bit accommodating when we asked for an extra chapati instead of rice and insisted on giving the chapati as a paid extra. The wine was room temperature and didnt even get into the fridge ever. Could have been slightly cold. The fish fingers were not great had thick crust.
