Kanvas Suites Hotel — Hotel in Goa

We had an amazing 7-night stay at Kanvas Suites. The location is unbeatable but still so quiet and relaxing. We stayed in the family room with our 1 year old baby and he slept so well! None of the street sounds made it through thanks to the white noise created by the fans and the blackout shades were a gift we truly appreciated. The booking process was super easy from abroad. The communication was great. The staff so helpful and polite. Anything we needed they helped us out with immediately. The place was European clean - not something you see at many places in India/Goa. They even provided us with a play pen. Which was helpful!! The hot water and AC worked well. The smart TV, fridge, and kettle were useful and made our stay comfortable. The balcony warmed up quickly so we always kept the door to the room closed so as to keep the heat outside. Maybe a drying rack in the balcony could be a lovely addition! We even used the free food delivery service of Kanvas Restaurant. The staff at reception were easy to reach via WhatsApp/phone call and they also arranged us taxis at good prices. We stayed for 10 days at Kanvas and I need to say that it was just as we had expected. The location is perfect- just at hand you have everything- shops, restaurants, money exchange and even delicious home-made ice-cream downstairs. It takes around 2 minutes to get to the lovely beach. As for the room - the facilities are outdated and require some rennovations but it has everything you need. And of course you have to keep it in mind that it is not a 4-5 hotel. The bed is comfy, hot water was always available during the stay. The area is quiet- we lived 2-nd floor facing the neighborhood with open balcony. Jack from the reception was super helpful, and other stuff was always smiling and respectful.

I put 4* for the service- because I would say it was my fault not to ask for the room service more often. We had our room cleaned only once, but when we were leaving I noticed a note on the door saying that room cleaning was upon request. So, if you need it more often, just tell the guys about it.

Stayed at Kanvas Suites Hotel for 7 nights in their Deluxe double suite. The room was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking coconut trees, away from the noisy street. The room was cozy with all the amenities, good Wi-Fi, AC, a comfortable bed, an electric kettle, and a functional mini fridge. The best part of the hotel is its location, just 200m from the beach, with good cafes and shopping just next door. Helpful staff managed the receptionist desk.

Pros: Room as nice as shown on the website, Location, Well-lit, comfortable, and decent-sized rooms, good AC, Wi-Fi, and bathroom. Cons: No Lift, had to remind for housekeeping and water, laundry is expensive
