Salute — Restaurant in Goa

The restaurant is a in-house restaurant in a beautiful resort. It lacks sufficient space for a large group. We visited the place on 11 Apr 2023. We went as a group of 6 and were made to wait for about 30-45 mins because another group, appeared to be some foreign tourists, was being served to. Even though there was a vacant table they denied the seating to us. Seems like they are biased/discriminatory towards their own country men.

Later, finally after much persuasion when we got the table, we ordered 3 pizzas. When we tried to order more we were told that they are left with no more dough/sauce for the pizzas. The time was just about 9:30 PM. The staff was extremely rude, unapologetic and unprofessional. They were not even aware of the availability of the drinks/deserts we wanted to order. A completely avoidable place. Would not recommend to anyone who wish to have a happy and joyful time with...

We stayed at Kenilworth for few days and wanted to try out this inhouse restaurant. Food was good. However the waitress was very rude. The first time we thought it would have been an accident when we asked about a dish. However It happenned a second time when we asked for recommendations on a veg pizza (we already had one, liked it and was hoping for suggestions with a different taste)., she curtly said everything is good here and you can order from the menu. Since this was supposed to be "authentic" they could make some suggestions. we felt very unwelcome. Never again even if its the last pizza restaurant on the planet. You can be proud (not arrogant) of serving authentic Italian dishes . We ask - Does authentic Italian come with rudeness as a side order?. Never...

Waited almost three years to come to this place and it was definitely worth it. Travelled all the way from Varca for dinner here and it was definitely an unforgettable experience. Staff were very helpful in suggesting dishes as we were unfamiliar and each dish had a different and unique taste to it. Desserts here are mouth watering and just incredibly well prepared. Pastas and Pizzas are like no other at this place and the ambiance is amazing as well. This place is however only open at night which makes the dining experience even more special. The Chef who prepared our food is incredibly talented and friendly and had a chat with us. This restaurant is definitely a must try even if you aren’t staying in the Kenilworth resort.
