Shiva Cafe Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

This would have got 5 stars based on our first two visits; lunch and dinner. A young guy served us, turned on the fan and was helpful and friendly. They did not have diet coke so I had gin and tonic rather than my usual rum and Coke. For lunch we shared a kachumber salad and a gobi 65. Both delicious. At dinner we had masala papads to start, followed by gobi 65,dahl khichdi, rotis and bhindi Masala. Again really enjoyed the food. The restaurant is upstairs at Starco Junction so it is fun watching the chaos below.

Unfortunately when we returned a third time the young guy was cooking and the service was poor. First there was no tonic or diet coke so we had to wait for them to buy one. We asked for kachumber salad which we had enjoyed previously , one man stared at it on the menu before saying they hadn't got it. So we ordered vegetable manchuria again pointing at it on the menu. He took the menu to the kitchen and a second man came out to confirm our order. However vegetable soup arrived. We again ordered vegetable manchurian which eventually arrived. When we got the bill we could see that vegetable manchurian had been written but "soup" added.. Went to this cafe on 01 Sep. First thing : Amazing Food and Cocktails. As the name suggests, steak is their speciality. Their chef and the bartender - Mr Pritam has many signature recipes that were a treat to your taste buds. We also enjoyed a couple of cocktails.

Second : Hospitality. They really know how to entertain people. The owners personally ensure that every guest gets enough attention.

Third : Location. It seats exactly on the cross roads leading to Anjuna, Bagha and Vagator. You can eat/ drink here and then hit the other popular tourist attractions.

Fourth: They have an open bar. One of the owners, Mr. Bijon informed us that he is likely to start with live music in a near future.

So guys, you can definately have a good time and food and drinks at a much lesser cost compared to other bistros in...

We all had a great time and it was worth spending time at Cafe Steak House. The service given by the owner Printam and Mr.Bijon Mukherjee and his team was excellent Specially the way they handled my kids was overwhelming, as my daughter is bit selective in eating, but the team made it sure to get her what's suits her , food was delicious, lovely property with the exact feel of Goa..food was cooked fresh and you could feel the freshness .Not much people know about it as it's just opened recently..we stayed at country club Anjuna for a week and Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner @Cafe Steak House.Pritam is a very bartender,cook and must see his juggling videos when you visit..n yes it's on yutYouT also.
