Rye Café – A Breakfast Gem!
Rye Café, located just outside our stay, turned out to be a delightful spot for breakfast. We discovered it on Google and were genuinely impressed. Their drinks, fruit bowls, and omelettes were all top-notch, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The omelettes, in particular, are quite filling, honestly, one is enough for two people if you’re not ravenous. We ended up ordering one each, which was a bit of a mistake, as we couldn’t finish and ended up wasting almost two full omelettes. Lesson learned!
They serve the omelettes with croissants, which added a nice touch and made the meal even more enjoyable. The variety of fruit bowls is also worth mentioning, super refreshing and well-balanced.
The vibe of the café was lovely, calm, cozy, and welcoming. I absolutely loved the place and would definitely go...
Read moreI went to this place because according to the reviews was meant to be 10/10. I asked for tender coconut on the menu - they did not have it. I then asked for orange juice which was good. The staff apologised the croissants that usually come with the omelette will take longer to bake so they politely suggested toast bread instead - which was fine with me. They brought me hard-cold butter that I could not use on my toast. I did not have that much time and although staff was very nice about it and wanted to make me a new Omelette I decided that I won’t take the chance. The juice was...
Read moreI would give 5 stars on everything but the food could be improved. The service and atmosphere are A++! The waitress and cook were really nice, gracious and attentive. The cappuchino is excellent! The pulled pork sliders would be truly fabulous but the rolls are frozen and had hard spots in them that didn’t thaw properly and you couldn’t chew that part…so that ruins the burger. I suggest changing to a full burger roll and toasting first. The smoothy bowl was good but would be better with less sugar, making the smoothy cold and using regular granola and not a corn flake mixture. We do love it here and would make it our coffee spot, but they need to improve...
