I have tried this place at least 5 times now and each time I have had a horrible experience.
the first time we came, the whole place was empty but the waiters didn’t let us sit at the place we wanted to sit at because they insisted it was reserved. It was literally a normal table and the person who might have reserved it could sit on two more tables that looked exactly the same
the second time we came, we were turned back for not wearing shoes in extreme rains. It was raining cats and dogs and they didn’t care and turned us back.
the third and the fourth time the service was slow and the food was just about ok. Just to mention- the quantity of food is unbelievably small.
this is the fifth time and we still hate it because the staff is rude and extremely slow. They gave us food without plates or spoons, didn’t give us water after us repeatedly asking for it but charged it in the bill, they don’t have so many drinks in the menu that I suggest you ask cost for before ordering because Budweiser wasn’t in the menu but they charged 400rs for it in the bill though all other beers are like 150-200. They clearly don’t put a few things on the bill coz that’s the place they have a chance to loot the customer.
We have given this place 5 chances because it’s so hyped, so we have always been curious to see what the hype is about or if we are missing out on something that everyone else sees. But no, never...

Hear me out!!
We went for the Latin night on Sunday. The place has a good ambience and the food was good too with decent quantity. We went around 8 pm and it was completely empty. By 9:30 pm the Latin night begin with two graceful trainers teaching the basics of salsa to everyone in the club. It was a great experience, shaking ourselves to the Latin music.
After this the downfall begin and that's why the low rating is provided. Once the basic training was done they opened the floor for people to dance by themselves. This Latin night is conducted by a salsa teaching institute. They had about 14 to 16 students who took over the stage, without leaving space for anyone.
These guys are learning Salsa for long, plus they completely took over it. As a person who just got accompanied with basics, it was very hard for us to even join them. Imagine a scenario where 8 professional couples are dancing salsa without even leaving an inch of space for others to join in.
A good option is that only one professional couple dances and others can join in plus follow their moves. This ruined our experience as we wanted to enjoy too and dance a bit. If we want to see professionals dancing we would go to a theatre or dance event, we won't come to a pub on Sunday evening.
Just a recommendation, think from the customer...
Read moreRating this 1 star for the sole fact that there's a bouncer with a hair bun, beard, kinda short, grumpy face who sits at the entry point who is absolutely pathetic and corrupt.
Had gone here on one of the Fridays, and asked a date to meet here, thinking it would be a fun experience. My date reached earlier so I asked her to wait inside. But when I reached, to my dismay, this bouncer asks me to pay 2.5k cover charges, and starts being very rude. All I wanted was a light meal, and that amount is absurd. Inspite of me telling him that I have a friend inside, and I don't mind paying a lesser amount as cover, he has the audacity to tell me to pay him 300(bribe) or to go someplace else. I thought corruption is only rampant in the government agencies of Goa, but it seems even bouncers nowadays want to make a quick buck. Is this how you train your staff? It's honestly a shame.
I called my friend and we did go someplace else, and decided to never come to Soro again.
With such a bad attitude and hand holding, no wonder the crowds...
