I had a fantastic dining experience at the restaurant. The dim sum, gelato, dark chocolate, sushi, and mocktails were all of exceptional quality and left a lasting impression. The presentation of the mocktails was visually appealing and added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Despite the service being impeccable during the early stages of my visit, it did become slower as the number of customers increased and the waiters appeared to be more occupied. However, I understand that this is a common occurrence during peak hours and do not hold it against the restaurant. Our waiter was particularly attentive and provided excellent recommendations that proved to be outstanding. I will certainly be returning to this establishment in the future. I highly recommend trying the cooked sushi, specifically the shrimp roll for those new to the cuisine. Do not miss the opportunity to indulge in the delectable dark chocolate and gelato for dessert, as it is truly divine. Although the prices may be considered on the higher end, the quality and exceptional dining experience make it worth every penny. This restaurant is truly a rare gem in Goa and should...
Read moreNever ever try to find decent Japanese food in South Goa. You will not find it, period. I have tried all places that serve sushi, rolls, sashimi, etc. and they are all bad. They save on fish, they don't use good quality fresh fish, if you take a chopstick and try to separate the fish fibres, the fish will just become mash, as it was frozen and defrosted and frozen again, etc. Plus there is no variety of fish, they only offer imported salmon, prawns and false crab, aka "crab sticks". Sometimes they offer "eel", but hardly anything will be fresh. Mostly it will be baked or salted, etc. In this restaurant it was the same story. Even with salmon, they only cover a quarter of the roll with it, like it's some kind of special delicacy. As for the wasabi, it was not pungent, apparently they used the wasabi powder and diluted it too much, and the soy sauce was just appalling. Forget about Kikkoman, you will get a strange mixture of water, cheap artificial soy sauce and also they add something to that mixture, lemon juice, if I am not mistaken. To conclude, eat something else, because if you know what Japanese food is like, you will be very...
Read moreTataki was a great experience . First time eating sushi (veg) and it was so yummy and beyond our expectations. My brother who had been here before, recommended Tataki for a unique dining experience and we were not disappointed. Tataki is off the beaten track on MG road in Panjim, housed on the top floor of a beautifully restored building. The ambience is very relaxed and beautifully appointed. Now for the food. Everything from the Mango special sushi- cucmbet mango cheese to black dumplings to kungpao chicken was yuuuuumy. We these for entre. Followed by mango yellow curry and chicken chilli noodles. Both the right amount of spiciness to suit our indian palate. We were waiting to sample the desserts and they did not disappoint. We ordered jaggery cheese cake , honeycomb chocolate cake coconut gelato and coconut pannacotta. I would recommend all three. We had such an amazing afternoon. The service was attentive and very friendly. Special shout out to Daniel and Bharat ( or Varath- too many beers by then 😁). Both did an excellent job in making our dining...
