UPDATE: After reading your response, it seems you really are not as receptive to feedback as you claim. Your loss. I as a paying customer have the full right to express my views on Google. Mind you, I still gave you 3 stars which is average, despite the fact that you can clearly see from the photos I uploaded that the food you sent me was charred and burnt in places. And trust me it tasted like it too.
I only gave you suggestions of other restaurants because I had enjoyed similar dishes to yours there.
Instead of focusing on improving your food, you're focused on countering my review and that's just sad. I will definitely not be retrying your restaurant after this experience. Take care!
-- Honestly, very disappointed. I ordered delivery so obviously I don't expect the same standards as dine in but I didn't expect it to be so bad either.
the pork tasted of nothing but oil. there was so much oil it tasted like greasy diner food made on a grill instead of fine dining. ive had better pork from a random restaurant called kitchen connexion just yesterday. the chef should eat sweet and sour pork there. btw i have no interest in that restaurant I'm just mentioning it to compare what is possible in goa with a pork dish. I know it's a different cuisine, but a good dish is a good dish and bad one is bad.
The gnocchi tasted too salty and oily. also it looked and tasted burnt. like it was made by an amateur chef. The chef should take a walk down to casa Noni in the next lane to eat far better gnocchi.
ive been a fan of padaria for a while and was excited to try their new restaurant but was left very disappointed.
honestly, im not trying to be mean. in fact I WANT praca to succeed, I like people who try to bring innovation to the goa dining scene. but i can't lie, this was just very very disappointing and mediocre.
if you disagree with me, fine, ignore my review. but I really really want you guys to do better and try to create great dishes. I know you have the talent, ive seen it in padaria. I just don't see it here...
Read moreWhat strikes you most about dining at Praca Prazeres is the whiff of irrepressible enthusiasm and eagerness in the air. This is evident in the service. Be it food being plated and served up at your table or the fairground merriment on both sides of the bar counter. There is no place for indifference here. You feel assured that you will be attended to and perhaps your every whim catered to (sane ones of course). Enough poetry in prose. The food's top notch. They know what they are serving up and it works. The mixologists sweat the details. The menu is chalked up on a big legible blackboard and produced everytime your heart so desires. The band had a nice collection of songs rendered tight. You can sing along and the room is filled with warm reverb that doesn't blow your eardrums to bits. You can hold your drinks better. The beet carpacio (yes) rivals New Zealand's mild obsession with all things beetroot and that is a good thing. The pork belly bites with apple sauce was just right. And we wanted the waffle base banana split for dessert as well as Afogato with Irish Cream. There it was. Just the way it should have been. The rain outside as we huddled around the table with analog music and real food to keep us company made it memorable. Great job guys. Stay earnest and real. Keep the enthusiasm levels intact. You could make admired repeats free (I am just...

If I could give Praca Prazeres more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. This place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates incredible food, fantastic drinks, and an ambience that pulls you in from the moment you walk through the door.
We tried the Chicken Liver Pate, Coffee Martini, Picante, Tenderloin, Potato Mash, Orzo, Tiramisu, and Sticky Toffee Pudding—and every single bite was absolutely mind-blowing. I couldn’t stop licking my fingers; that’s how good it was. The flavors, the textures, the perfect balance in every dish—it’s the kind of food that makes you pause and just savor the moment.
The live music added to the already vibrant, cozy, and intimate atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a great night out. And a huge shoutout to Tanisha, who was not just an amazing host but also a fantastic chef and waitress—she truly made our experience even more special with her warmth and impeccable service.
This is the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left. Already counting the days until I can come back. Highly, highly...
