Family Run Restaurant with Absolutely Predictable Lip smacking food. Whatever we ordered was Lovely and Delicious. We were on a vacation to goa with our parents and passed by this restaurant multiple times. We tried this restaurant and the remaining trip was easy. We visited 7 times in 3 days. That tells the trust we developed on this restaurant. We love traveling !!! And the fact is .. we have travelled 7 states in past 2 months. We have been to Goa multiple times and tried probably more than 35-40 restaurants in past few years.. from small to premiums.. beach shacks to road sides. Never it happened that we kept returning to one place again and again. And thats exactly happened with VIVA GOA COLVA. We kept returning everytime. When you are on vacation with family in the Pandemic times, idea is visit restaurants which are nice and clean. Gives you a feeling of Safety. At the same time, having senior citizens with you makes you more cautious about what food to order. The restaurant is neat and clean and follows the safety guidelines. Owner Francis is originally from Mumbai, warm and welcoming. Husband, wife & kids run the restaurant. We tried Lunch and Dinner on same day and fall in love with the food quality and quantity. Everything was just right for our stomach. We loved it so much that after roaming around in Panjim and North goa all day, we came back 40kms to Colva to have dinner here on Dec 25. That may sound promotional.. But yes we just loved the food. Because having food here never made our stomach angry. Probably ordered 20 items in 7 visits here. Barring 1-2, everything was worth ordering 2nd time. Must visit place for Predictable food if you are in Colva. Thanks.

Lovely air conditioned restaurant. We went to have dinner there. Our server was really welcoming, cordial and knowledgeable about the dishes served there. For starters we had the mussels rawa fried which were of a decent portion, well prepared and flavourful, lepo rawa fry again very tasty decent sized lepos and the portion was commensurate with the price charged, Beef tongue roast which was flavourful, decent sized sliced pieces of tongue but quantity wise less and the only drawback here was there were chunky potatoes which in my opinion made the dish less worthy of the price charged for it. For mains we had the lepo ambot tik with rice which was full of flavour, a decent amount of lepos in the curry, beef cilli fry very flavourful with chunky pieces of onions etc and a mackerel recheado nice big mackerel with recheado stuffed on both sides nicely prepared with the fish just juicy enough. We had the tasty but small portions of seraduras for dessert to end the evening. Along with the usual beverages. Service was prompt and attentive. Parking is available besides the establishment but limited to maybe less than a handful of cars and bikes at most.

I read reviews before coming here so in return I'm saving your time by reviewing this place; Mates if you want to blow cash on okay okay food then this is an okay place to do so. Maybe tourists like this place because they have no idea where to go and what to buy. Here I ordered honey chicken crispy around 220 inr(was decent ) Rates are about like 380 for two slices of kingfish-totally not worth it in my opinion. The beef ala something for 350 had barely any actual beef pieces in it. The rice prawns curry for 350 was okay okay, kinda watery,Rice was less. The prawns crispy was fine but quantity was less and uneven as in bits and pieces. I kinda hated this place , I don't mind spending money but I don't like feeling like I'm paying a premium for meh quality. 1 star because service and seating was decent.

As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to discover the impressive range of vegetarian offerings on the menu. The use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients was evident in each plate that arrived at my table.

One highlight of the menu was the Vegetable Xacuti—an aromatic coconut-based curry that was a symphony of flavors. The blend of spices and textures made each bite a delightful exploration of taste. The Paneer Caldin, a subtle yet flavorful curry with tender paneer cubes, showcased the restaurant's ability to balance simplicity with exceptional taste.

Even the selection of traditional Goan bread, such as poi and sannas, was a treat in itself. The variety and depth of flavors in these bread perfectly complemented the main courses and elevated the entire dining experience.

The bar at Viva Goa continued to impress with its innovative approach to vegetarian-friendly cocktails. The mixologists' skill in crafting drinks that highlighted local ingredients and flavors was truly commendable. Their attention to detail extended to non-alcoholic options as well, offering refreshing mocktails that paired beautifully with the food.

The service was equally outstanding, with staff who were attentive and well-versed in the vegetarian offerings. Their recommendations and willingness to customize dishes to suit my preferences showcased a level of hospitality that made the experience all the more enjoyable.

Viva Goa Restaurant and Bar is a popular restaurant in Colva, Goa, that serves a variety of Goan and seafood dishes. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor seating. The service is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious.

I recently visited Viva Goa with some friends, and we were all very impressed with the food. We started with the Goan fish curry, which was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. For our main course, we shared the seafood thali, which was a great way to try a variety of different dishes. The thali included fish, prawns, crab, and clams, all cooked in different ways. We also tried the chicken xacuti, which was another excellent dish.

The desserts at Viva Goa are also worth trying. We had the bebinca, which is a traditional Goan dessert made with layers of cake and custard. The bebinca was light and delicious, and it was the perfect way to end our meal.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Viva Goa Restaurant and Bar. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. We would definitely recommend Viva Goa to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Colva.
