We visited Ahmedabad for the Coldplay concert and thought, “Since we’re here, why not try a traditional Gujarati thali?” That’s how we discovered Aagrah on Zomato. Running late and worried about the closing time, we called ahead—and thankfully, Mr. Madan Singh graciously saved us a seat. His warm hospitality and friendly demeanor set the perfect tone for our dining experience!! 😄

The restaurant’s ambiance was a delightful nod to authentic Gujarati culture, from the beautifully arranged seating and traditional music to the staff’s attire—everything felt thoughtfully curated - it looks exactly as shown in the pictures online.

And the food? Absolutely divine! Every dish was bursting with flavor, capturing the true essence of Gujarati cuisine. My friends, who had traveled from different states, were amazed by the taste and authenticity. Words truly fall short to describe how delicious everything was!!

You can enjoy the lavish Gujarati Thali there which inlcudes - Salad, Nashto, Gujarati Subji, Punjabi Subji, Kadhi-Khichdi, Dal Bhaat, Kathod, Mithai, Chaas. They introduce a New Menu daily and the Thali is lip smacking good you need to try it to know why I am raving about it soo much. The best part is the Aamras you can indulge in it with Pooris and the Bhindi Masala was excellent I couldnt stop eating it with the Ghee loaded Rotis. My favourite was the Khichdi with Kadhi which felt like a soulful end to one heavy meal.

To reach the Restaurant take the Main Entrance lift to 2nd floor then climb up the side stars to the entrance or go to the side entrance lift to 3rd Floor for direct entry. The staff is very courteous they are ready to serve you the minute you are ready to hog.
