I visited Bucky Diner on a Wednesday winter evening hoping to have a peaceful dinner in an open-air setting. The understated ambience was just what I wanted and it was such a pleasant change from the usually crowded and loud cafes.
The Go Malwa festival was going on from 13-26 Nov (today is the last day!) and being from Indore, my expectations with food were naturally very high. Ordered a Bhopali & Indori Snack Combo @ ₹435/- and here’s its review:
Bhutte Ka Kees (2/5) : quite close to the authentic taste, but was too bland and wasn’t crumbly. Missed dhaniya, green chillies garnishing flavours.
Moong Ki Kachori (3/5) : served with dahi, chutney and anaar on top (nailed the authentic garnishing 😍) but the crust was hard, not ‘khasta’ or crunchy. Also, it was served cold.
Khandaniya (tasted a lot like Besan k gatte, but apparently it was made with chic-peas) and Paratha (4/5): Loved the gravy, dumplings could have been softer. Paratha was perfect!
Badkul (5/5): Had this khoya-jalebi for dessert and it was so heavenly and delicious 😍
👉 Fulfilling quantity of combo. Warm and polite staff. Self-service.
🙌🏻 There seemed to be a wide variety of options in food ranging from pasta salad to gajar and lauki ka halwa.

And the chef is really very sweet and makes yumlicious food. -But the food is expensive and quantity they provides is not upto the price they charge for food. -Overall it was a nice experience.
