Shree Marutinandan Restaurant — Restaurant in Gujarat

After attending the flower show at Riverfront, we decided to have dinner at Marutinand Ksthiyawadi. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disaster. Marutunandan has multiple chains in Ahmedabad, so we thought it would be a good restaurant. However, we were extremely hungry and ordered without checking any reviews.

The problems started with their restroom, which was one of the most unhygienic ones we have ever visited.

As for the food, we ordered the veg Manchow soup, which was just okay in terms of taste. The Gravy Manchurian had a watery gravy and lacked any flavor. The Hakka noodles were simply boiled noodles and had no taste at all.

Despite half of the restaurant being empty, the waiter insisted that we give our roti order all at once. If we wanted to order more rotis later, it would take time due to the rush in the hotel. The Tawa Roti and tandoori roti were nothing special, resembling those found at roadside dhabas.

Moving on to the Punjabi sabji, we ordered paneer butter masala, which is usually a safe bet. However, they served a sabji that was more like paneer burjee and once again, it lacked any great taste.

The Dal tadka tasted like mess dal, and the Jeera rice was nothing more than boiled rice.

To top it all off, there was a cockroach making an appearance as if it were a guest.

When I entered the hotel, I didn't expect a great experience, just decent food for hungry souls. However, it turned out to be a complete disaster.

I visited Marutinandan, Navrangpura(Panchvati) on Wednesday and ordered the Jain fixed lunch. Unfortunately, the vegetable dish that was served had a foul odor. I promptly brought this to the attention of the management, but the manager's response was dismissive and rude. He claimed to have tasted the dish himself and deemed it acceptable. The receptionist also tasted the dish and similarly insisted that it was fine, but offered to replace it with a paneer dish.

Regrettably, after consuming the replacement dish, I experienced severe stomach discomfort and digestive issues from Wednesday evening onwards.

The poor quality of the food and the poor attitude of the staff make me strongly advise against visiting...

The experience was really bad. The amount of the dish was surprisingly small and we sat 2 hours for some dishes. The food quality was very bad. The served a chass which smelled very awkward and the green chutney was served after we finished the panner chilli dry.

On top of that, to our surprise the quantities ordered and the generation of the bill was of double quantity. Expectation of such from a reputed brand is highly unacceptable. When it came to bill payment we were tried to manipulate that the card payment is not working. To cut it short from start to finish highly disappointments. Zero...
