When the fast food culture was just starting in Ahmedabad city, 'Treat' Restaurant was established on the ground floor of Doctor House near Parimal Garden in the Ambawadi area. At that time, a grilled sandwich was considered a luxury, and people were proud to eat there. Treat's two-layer and three-layer grilled sandwiches became so popular that they were the talk of the town. They also introduced popular dishes like pav bhaji and dosa here, which were number one.

Now, when many question the quality in fast food restaurants, you can eat at Treat without worry because there's no compromise on quality. The taste is consistently good too.

I've visited this restaurant on a daily basis for 2 years (2021 to 2023) and I've never been disappointed. Reasonable prices and excellent quality.

Currently, you'll find less crowd at the restaurant for two reasons: first, because the Parimal under-bridge was built, covering the restaurant from view; second, many corporate offices that were once in this area have shifted. As Ahmedabad has grown in size and population, numerous new fast food parlors and restaurants have opened up. However, Treat still has its loyal customers. People come from far away to enjoy their Gujarati thali or to order takeout. If you want to enjoy a meal without any worries, you can confidently visit here and try any dish. Firstly heard a lot about it, and wanted to be here since heard it first time.

We tried their recently launched Hulk sandwich, penne pasta in red sauce and Pani Puri Pizza.

Five layered Hulk Sandwich - The first layer of The Hulk consists of tomatoes, onion, capsicum and oodles of cheese. Then again comes a layer of cheese, third layer consists of paneer marinated in their secret chilly sauce. The forth and the fifth layer again consists of tons of cheese and diced vegetables accompanied with their delicious secret sauces.

Penne pasta in red sauce was creamy and spicy, tasted yummy.

Pani Puri Pizza - It had 8 Puri's filled with pizza toppings and loaded with cheese. Didn't found up to the mark.
