Dakshinayan — Restaurant in Gujarat

It's too much noisy , be it spoons or people's voice. If you try to tell water to call manager or senior then he will only ask the question and reply and no courtesy to take care of the issue. Only replies that we got is that it will be like this only as if we had made a big mistake to choose this place for dining. You can't talk internally and hear properly if you sit on the same table. Even person who is taking order , can't hear the order properly. It's that much congested according to price of their menu. Be careful for sofas as its wet due to cleaning table. Person is not bothered to check seats properly. Seats were too congested. Rest food is yet to taste.

Again may be a bad day , but no one is bother after showing the hair on dosa which detected after eating 75% and counter arguing that you are almost done then after you are showing this. He just simply removes and asked to bring another who would like to eat another one. The person who took order is behaving very rudely and no serious about the mistake happen from their end and no courtesy and on apologies for this. Asked him to remove that particular item from bill then again he is laughing and telling that you ate so what is the problem in paying. From starting till the end of 45 minutes, very pathetic attitude of staff and asked to call manager but waiter has refused saying he is busy for customers but he was not actually. Finally, I went to meet him and providing update to the manager , surprisingly he replied that it may fall and we could have given alternative like we do for all other customers but you refused. There is no control of such things fall into Dosa as so many cook is working.

This is really a very big hygienic issue for eating food with Dakshinayan and their staff's attitudes.

Dakshinayan is a famous south Indian restaurant in Ahmedabad, but I have never visited any of your branches yet but today I have visited your Satellite, A'bad Branch with my family, and we have ordered 1 Masala Dosa and 1 Maisur Masala Dosa. I have the following review points about your services, foods and pricing.

Services of Waiter - Very Good Quality of Foods - Average, (Dosa is not good, Masala is also not good, Sambhar is Good and tasty) 2a. I found Good Quality of Dosa outside even in street foods compared to your restaurant. For this 2 Dosa I have paid total of INR 500 with GST (not included any other items) : I WANT TO POINTED OUT THIS POINT AS HOW YOU ARE CHARGING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS THIS MUCH PRICE, AS YOUR FOOD QUALITY IS NOT BETTER THAN STREET FOOD. ONLY BECAUSE OF YOU ARE PROVIDING A/C AND SITTING FACILITIES YOUR ARE CHARGING DOUBLE THAN OUTSIDE. EVEN YOUR MENU PRICE IS WITHOUT GST AND WHILE MAKING BILL YOU ARE ADDING GST AMOUNT, I GUESS IT IS ILLEGAL TO SHOW PRICE WITHOUT GST EVEN YOU ARE POINTING GST CHARGED EXTRA IN NOTES IN DOWN IN VERY SMALL LETTER. YOU MUST SHOW CHARGES WITH GST.

AS A CUSTOMER I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW COSTING OF YOUR 1 MASALA DOSA AND 1 MESUR DOSA, AS YOUR QUALITY IS NOT THAT SO GREAT HOW COULD YOU CHARGED DOUBLE THAN OTHERS WHO ARE GIVING ALMAST BEST QUALITY

I was over reliant on Sankalp for South Indian cuisine. Finally found a good place to have Authentic South Indian.

This place has average ambiance. They should definitely put new masks!

We ordered:- Coconut Sevai :- I am more of spice lover person. So I didn’t like much of its taste. But new dish was worth a try. It is some rice thing mixed with coconut and some vegetables.

Mini Masala Idly :- Must order it. Good quantity and spicy.

Curd Idly :- It tasted like 'Dahi Wada'. Same chutneys on it.

Rava Masala Dosa :- The dosa was bit thick. The stuffing was average.

Rasam Vada :- Generally Rasam is sour but this rasam was not quite sour. Vadas were soft though.

Adai Masala Dosa :- This dosa was mixture of 5 pulses. The quantity of masala with it was disappointing.

Rava Onion Dosa :- Well it has lots and lots of onion in it.

Mysore Masala Dosa :- It tasted like normal masala dosa.

Curd Rice :- This was the best time. They were served so chilled. Must order it.

The sambhar and chutney tasted so well. They could serve more chutney.
