On Saturday, 3rd May 2025, I had a very bad experience at Geetha Restaurant, Vesu Branch. There was a queue, and the waiting time was around 30 minutes. I was with my kids, and they were hungry. I asked the pani puri vendor to give me just two plain puris, without any stuffing. He refused and responded as if I had asked for an entire meal. I told him I was ready to pay whatever amount and to include it in my bill, but he still refused to give the puris.

Finally, I approached the billing counter and requested them to take the money and give me just two puris for my kids. The person at the counter said they would charge for a full plate and provide seven plain puris. I said that’s fine, but asked him to speak with the pani puri vendor.

I went to eat at a restaurant for the first time, that too on the insistence of my friend and his father. When I reached there, I understood why they liked this restaurant because most of the waiters there were from Orissa, and my friend is also from Orissa.

Setting aside these things, let's talk about the food, service, and environment. The taste of the food was average; it didn't match the level of the price they charged. The service was extremely poor, in fact, it was very slow. The management was also so bad that the order we placed was incorrect. We ordered buttermilk with papad, and dal tadka with jeera rice. Ironically, they brought the buttermilk with Jeera rice and after a while, they brought the dal tadka. After a long wait, they finally brought the papad, and we had to remind them. It's not like there were many customers at that time, only we were sitting there until the end, yet they provided such poor service.
