Orchid -Multicuisine Restaurant — Restaurant in Gujarat

After pandemics visited first time and had a bitter experience, we visited for buffet lunch with some guests. While booking were informed lunch starts by 12:30 & hence we reached by 12:50, to our surprise the counters were not ready and all staff were busy placing and taking pics of desert counter. At 1:15 we started and found no name of dish with green & red tags were kept at Salad counter & Desserts counter (see image) and therefore bifurcation was difficult. As there were no other guests other than our group AC cooling was stopped by around 2pm, we insisted and hence was restarted. They charge additional on weekend & festival but don't add any items. We went there for dinner at around 8pm and we were the only people dining there at that time on a Sunday. We ordered veg fried rice, veg manchurian gravy, aglio olio spaghetti and brownie with ice cream. The service was very slow. The manchurian balls were not fully cooked, the spaghetti was strictly ok, the brownie was bad and the only saving grace was the fried rice which was decent. My honest advice would be to avoid this restaurant and go for other options as food is strictly below average. There is a hotel with a similar name just a few lanes down the road. Should also mention 'Fortune' in the name for convenience of future guests.

Regardless of the minor inconvenience above, the food and service itself is nothing extraordinary.

From my experience with the buffet, most of the recipes were cold and the designated staff simply ignored the complaint as if it's a normal daily occurrence.

Overall I simply cannot recommend this for either the food itself or the hospitality. There are much better establishments nearby which offer a better...
