Oven Magick — Restaurant in Gujarat

I live next to Oven Magick and when they first opened, I was thrilled to finally have a bakery selling high-quality bread and cake nearby. However, I've noticed a significant decline in the quality of their products lately. The bread is now comparable to cheaper, lower-end brands and the cakes are no longer up to par, causing me to stop consuming them altogether. What's worse is that the bakery's prices have increased, which seems more driven by their ego than by any real improvements in their products.

The quantity of their products has also become absurdly low for the prices they charge. As a result, I've started traveling to the other side of the city to buy bread. On top of that, I've noticed that the staff seem more interested in arguing on their cell phones than in paying attention to customers.

Oven Magick has been my go-to since I was a kid actually. I remember their delicious almond chocolate bites used to be my fav! Recently, it was my parent's 25th anniversary and I gave them a custom order for a 2-tier cake. It had to look elegant and the cake order was for a marble cake with chocolate chips. It's safe to say they exceeded my expectations. Exceptional presentation, not too sweet not too chocolaty, the cake itself had the right amount of airy-ness and moisture (not dry at all) and they had it ready at the right time so it was fresh when we served it. There was not a crumb left of that cake that night. I 100% recommend for all your future cake orders.

Visiting this outlet since more than a decade. I forgot what their old name was but either way the consistency of their baked goods has remained commendable over time.

Majority of the packaged products like breads are sourced locally from their own dedicated processing unit.

Other items like pastries, donuts and usual confectionery snacks like Puff pastries are available but the latter especially are prepared in limited quantities. Except for the donuts which are not that great from my experience, every other item on the menu is worth a try.
