I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Fairfield by Marriott Vadodara and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The staff at Fairfield by Marriott Vadodara is simply outstanding. They are not only professional but also incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant staff, everyone was attentive and eager to assist with any request.

The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and immaculately clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The amenities provided were top-notch, and I appreciated the little touches that added to the overall experience.

If I could rate this dining experience in negative stars, I would. My visit to Fairfield by Marriott, Vadodara was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we were served cold and stale starters to the audacity of the serving staff to simply reheat them in a microwave and serve them again, it was clear that quality and customer satisfaction are not priorities here.

Despite voicing our dissatisfaction, the ordeal only worsened when even the main course arrived as cold as ice. The manager's response was even more appalling, dismissing our concerns and insisting that this was the "warmest" they could offer. Excuse me? Is frozen food their definition of warm?

In an attempt to salvage the situation, we were promised fresh food. What we received was a sad excuse for a meal – plain rotis devoid of any trace of ghee or butter, accompanied by basic vegetable curries. And to add insult to injury, they had the audacity to charge us a whopping 1400/- for this abysmal dining experience.

The sheer disrespect shown by the manager is unforgivable. Instead of addressing our concerns with sincerity, they chose to dismiss us and serve subpar food. This level of incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction is utterly unacceptable.

I refuse to let this horrendous experience slide. I will not only pursue legal action but also file a complaint in the consumer court. Fairfield by Marriott, Vadodara, you have not just lost a customer, but you have also tarnished your reputation beyond repair....

Just had a delightful buffet dinner experience tonight, May 17th, 2025, at the Fairfield by Marriott Vadodara. The food was truly delicious, offering a wide and satisfying variety from soup to desserts. The chicken soup, fish preparation, and tandoori chicken were particular standouts for me. I also appreciated the thoughtful separation of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

The interiors and the overall atmosphere and ambiance were excellent. The hotel boasts a very pleasant and welcoming environment, which greatly enhanced the dining experience.

The service was excellent. The waiters and supervisory staff were polite, well-trained, and remarkably attentive. It was refreshing to have assistance readily available without needing to seek it out.

The hotel's convenient location, very close to the Vadodara Railway station and en route to Alkapuri/Racecourse, is also worth noting.

While many previous guests have already captured the appealing food and interiors in their photos, I took a few quick snapshots as I was leaving, while the security staff kindly retrieved my car from the parking. I am attaching them here with my review.

My only suggestions for improvement would be regarding the food labels. Placing them at the front and using larger lettering would make it much easier to identify the various dishes. Additionally, a welcome drink upon arrival would be a lovely touch to enhance the guest experience.
