Purohit Farsan — Restaurant in Gujarat

During our trip to Ahmedabad, we noticed Purohit Farsan just few steps away from our hotel. On the first day, we decided to try their breakfast, and it didn’t disappoint.

All items which we tried—Fafda Jalebi, Samosa, and Dhokla—were really good. The Dhokla was super soft and delicious. The Jalebi was served hot, crispy, and perfectly sweet. It was a treat! Fafda, which I tried for the first time, was decent on its own, but the combo with the papaya chutney was amazing.

The Samosa was okayish for me, probably because I’m from Lucknow, where samosas are a bit different. But calling it bad would be unfair.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend it for a taste of authentic...

Purohit farsan shop is located at corner near ashish restaurant kankaria (pushpakunj). It was wide variety of freshly made namkeen , farsan and sweet. The best thing i like in this place is samosa kachori and bafvada. They are literally delicious and very fresh. Went there today to get my samosa and received it piping hot. They also keep mava peda at 380/kg price which is extremely reasonable.. i mean it is much more cheaper than the sweet shops. They also keep some cold drinks and icecreams. I have uploaded photos about the prices of certain items and the place which you can check . Dine in is not available. No place to seat and eat.. but yes they give parcels nicely packed. Must try...

It’s not that I am not a regular customer — I have visited many times. But every time, he does not serve the snacks that we ask for. Instead of serving them hot and fresh as requested, he serves snacks according to his own choice, as if we are beggars taking food for free. His staff members & owner aged person also appear very rude and do not even respond to what we say. Overall, their service is very poor. And their owner and persons staff...
