Rasoi by Rosette — Restaurant in Gujarat

To make our Sunday date special, we were thinking of going at a good place for dinner after a movie. After glancing at a few short listed options, we finalised Rasoi by Rosette. It is situated in Fatehguni, opposite to 7 Seas Mall.

Being a Sunday evening, we expected rush and waiting time. To our surprise, the restaurant is located below the normal level. We had to go down 2 floors to head to the restaurant. As we finally reached there, the surrounding felt so good. There was a queue and a big waiting time.

We sat in the waiting area. Beneath us lay a beautiful scenic vision of water and fishes roaming around. Yes, the restaurant is made on live aquarium all through. This for sure is a clincher in itself when it comes to its ambience. After over half an hour of waiting, we finally got a table.

The service was quite good. We liked the setup and also the manner of formation of the menu. The menu comprised of all varieties with sufficient options for each category and it made for us being spoilt for choices.

We finally nailed in on what to have and ordered the following:-

Masala Papad Paneer Pind Da (Chef Special Sabji) Butter Roti Butter Naan Lucknowi Biryani Paan Ice Cream (Dessert)

Each item left us gasping our more. The taste and flavours were different and it made for a delicious eatery for us. The sev in Masala Papad wasn’t the usual thin but a bit thick that enhanced its flavour. The chef special sabji was indeed tasty. It was different kind of red gravy, with Paneer a bit fried and the gravy being thick that added to the taste and feel of the dish.

The biryani when it arrived felt like a normal one but on tasting it, it felt really good. It was again different than the normal and comprised of quite a few spices that added to the aroma and essence of the biryani. The Pan ice cream made for a perfect dessert too.

Overall, we had a terrific experience at Rasoi by Rosette. Given the kind of unique ambience and set up that it has, the pricing is quite pocket friendly. You get a rich feel and you’ll love being here with friends, family and loved ones too. I’ll surely recommend this place. I’ll easily rate it 5/5. It will be a go to place for us and we felt so good here last night. Thanks for a wonderful experience that we got. Keep up the good work, maintain the quality of the food and keep enhancing...

I recently visited Rasoi by Rosette at Fatehgunj, Vadodara, intrigued by the restaurant's unique concept of an aquarium-themed ambiance with walls and flooring made of glass, allowing guests to enjoy the mesmerizing sight of various fishes gracefully gliding through the water. While the theme was undoubtedly captivating, unfortunately, the overall experience left much to be desired.

Let's start with the positive aspects. The restaurant's interior design, with its aquarium-like walls, was undeniably eye-catching and offered a serene atmosphere. The concept was a brilliant idea and added an element of tranquility to the dining experience. Moreover, the pricing of the food was reasonable, making it an enticing prospect for patrons.

However, the allure of the ambiance quickly faded away as I delved into the culinary offerings. I was deeply disappointed by the poor quality of the food. The dishes lacked flavor and finesse, and some even seemed stale and poorly cooked. The limited menu options did little to redeem the dining experience, and it was evident that more attention should be given to improving the kitchen's offerings.

The service further compounded my dissatisfaction. The staff's behavior was lackluster, showing minimal interest in attending to diners. The manager, who should have been overseeing the restaurant's smooth operation, seemed disinterested and indifferent to the customers' needs. I observed multiple instances where existing customers were ignored when attempting to place additional orders or seek assistance. This disregard for customers left a sour taste in my mouth, detracting from the overall dining experience.

Overall, my visit to Rasoi by Rosette was underwhelming. Despite the visually striking theme, the lackluster food quality and unprofessional staff behavior overshadowed any potential positive aspects. The restaurant has the potential to be a captivating dining destination, but it requires significant improvements in its food offerings and staff training. Until these issues are addressed, I would not recommend Rasoi by Rosette for a pleasant...

So, we visited @rasoi_rosette . An arcadian place away from hustle despite being situated in the heart of the city, how? It's located underground! @rasoi_rosette has so much going on along with their world class cuisine. They have plethora of activities you can do to feel comfortable and be relaxed. . . Firstly we were welcomed by their amicable staff with their organic drink. A very refreshing start. Later on we got to try their offerings such as foot massage, body massage, fish spa and underground swimming pool with music system and projector screen. . . Coming to the food, In appetizers, we had Veg Lollipop and Dahi Kabab. Both very meticulously prepared. While the former one being sharp in taste and aromas while the later was mild but equally delicious. They were both complimentary to each other. Very well done! . . Next we had their main course, being 3 different sabzi, PANEER LABABDAR, BAINGAN KA BHARTA and RAJMA MASALA. all of them very actue in taste and flavors, full score here. It's nearly impossible to be nit-picking here. Kudos to the chef. Along with these we had Roti/Rotla accompanied by salad and papad. . . Next we had DAAL TADKA and JEERA RICE, being on of the best daals I've ever tasted, hands down. . . In the dessert, we had KESAR JALEBI, which was absolutely balanced, one bite and there were smiles all over. Too good! . . And it ended with NAGARVEL PAN SHOT. what can I say about it? Wow! Haha it was just great!! . . Also, very important and inspiring thing about @rasoi_rosette is that they cook using the earthenware utensils, not only that but they also serve in earthenware. Pretty down-to-earth right! ?! They have a varied menu and they keep changing it, while using organic food products. . . Overall, @rasoi_rosette have a great place for everyone, with inspiring ideas and amazing staff (one of the quickest and most enthusiastic). In addition to this, they have amazing food. I would recommend it...
