Wok On Fire - Indo Chinese & Pan Asian — Restaurant in Gujarat

It was my first time dine in experience at Wok on Fire Fatehgunj, Vadodara. Okay starting from first thing, it was little weird that for ala carte orders we had to first pay in full then order was to be served. That's fine restaurant policy. Soup was served which was good but little expensive. Noodles was tasteless. We requested for onion salad which was straight way denied to be served saying that they do not fulfill such requests as per restaurant policy! WTH! This was the worst reply I heard from any restaurant in the entire Vadodara city. We ordered All in one Sizzler which came within time frame but the waiter refused to serve us saying its self service? 😡 This was heard for the first time in a restaurant that they do not serve sizzler to customer after ordering! The bathroom door was not working for which they didn't put a proper readable label or block it to prevent use. 2 customers got stuck in it due to that and took much time to get them out.. And last but not the least. When we told them to pack the remaining food for take away they again charged us for take away! combo ever, the decor of this place attracted me. The authentic chinese is cooked by tossing the wok on fire, so the name drags me here. Always a line outside the restaurant has some negative impact as well as positive. They don't book table on phone. Long back, on a sunday eve we planned to go here. This place has paid order system, you need to order on the counter. Coming to food we ordered manchaow soup, spring roll and sizzler. Soup was delecious, spring roll was good, Sizzler again a thumbs up dish. Thr menu is vast and being a chinese fan, wanna revisit to try everything. But one shouldn't miss visit to this place. I don't really remember if I had a bad experience at restaurant, because every time I want to go to eat at restaurant, I always read the restaurant review online. Restaurant review is so helpful for the new customer and culinary hunter like me. I wrote plenty of the reviews too and most of them are good.
