Extremely disappointing experience at Sankalp. We have been a regular diner at Sankalp for many years now across many locations in many cities. It's really sad to see this brand, which was once a favorite, has downgraded so much. We made a table reservation in advance, which, on arrival they refused to accept. You should stop misleading your customers by providing table reservations on google if you're not capable of managing it. The service was the worst I have experienced in a long time, even when there was no rush at the restaurant. They simply put a bottle of water on the table without giving glasses and gave the starters without giving any plates. We had to call them and ask for glasses and plates, which is the bare minimum thing in any service industry. The only thing that we had loved at Sankalp over the years was their food. However, this time, food was also a big disappointment. The quality and taste of food were not good at all. The sambhar was unexpectedly bad. On top of that, they have reduced the variety of chutneys now that we had in the earlier days. The coconut chutney was the only saving grace. The worst part of the evening was that after such bad service, they shamelessly asked for a tip. I hope the restaurant takes the feedback into account and tries to get the old...
