The Goodies Cafeteria — Restaurant in Gujarat

I have been to many cafeterias but thumbs up to goodies. Their service is just a nightmare. Its like they have kept staff to serve you but ultimately its self service. You will have to stand and get everything on your own from glass of water to your bill from the counter. Even on the counter the manager will keep you waiting till he finishes his call which will ring again in a minute and you will have to wait for 15 More minutes. Still there is a combo offer here! The waiter doesn't take a step to serve you. Manager doesn't utter a word even after telling him how the things are going on. Only go to this place if your life was a fairy tale and you want to experience bad things in life by paying a premium...

I ordered for Aloo paratha and raita, and specifically told the captian to skip cabbage. I got paratha with simple salt and turmeric as spicies and chilled curd. When asked why curd and not raita, hum toh cabbage and carrots hi dalte hai. Aapne cabbage mana Kiya toh humne carrot bhi nai dala.

The whole world is mad that defines raita with onions, tomato, cucumber, carrots and cabbage. This place knows only two veggies!

I am regular customer since 15 years+ and as their chefs change.. the whole menu and serving pattern changes!!

Goodies has both indoor and outdoor snacks,lunch and dinner facility. The outdoor ambience is new and fun to hang out with friends and family and also the lightings outdoor are better for getting good pictures. Parking here is a bit of a headache when there's more rush as the space alloted for parking is less infront of its premises. Indoor ambience is decent with good staff. The service is fast overall. Pastries are the best. Food items amongst the must have items are Paneer Bhurji, Cheese Chilli Sandwich, Chana Puri, etc. Some items are a bit overpriced compared to the quantity provided.
