The Secret Kitchen — Restaurant in Gujarat

I haven't seen any so called famous brand who is NOT famous for providing best customer service, food quality and making day memorable for customers but they are specialised in ruining customers special occasions by their pathetic customer service and in house food service and due to this customer i have to feel ashamed in front of their friends and family for bringing them to this unprofressional restaurent for special occasion.

I have hired banquet at secret kitchen twice in last years for my special occasion and they have ruined both my functions on both the occasion by their pathetic customer service and in house food service.

On 10th December 2023 we hired banquet and when we reached there was no sitting arrangement and they started that in front of guests which is so unprofressional. When we booked we were told they will be able to provide sitting for 50 people but the truth is they were only able to provide sitting for 30 people and other remaning guest they told us to accomodate in general restaurent which is not right as if you are not able to accomodate 50 people in banquet why did you took my booking as if you told me this earlier i would have gone some where else but the people who had to sit in the general restaurent cause of this unprofessional management i had to appologise to those guests and it ruined my special occiasion as half of guest were in banquet and other half in reataurent. Also when we asked why you cant accomodate more people in banquet they told is they dont have enough tables which is pathetic.

Another issue was the service which is pathetic and they have hired full of idiots without professional training because there were some items which was in the menu but they didnt arrive until some of our guest requested as whatever item which was agreed it should be served in the table. Also some the starters they served it was cold and they were chewy. Also we agreed that the restaurent staff will serve the food on the buffet counter but there was no staff and when we requested in the middle of the function they putted 2 people which was just standing not doing anything and guest willl have to take food by themselves.

At the time of booking i have confirmed it 5 times that please give us the best customer service and i wont have get disappointed like it happended in December 2022 and my guest go out praising the food of secret kitchen but it clearly didnt happened in this case it not only ruined my fuction but it let down in front of my guests with the kind of service we have received especially half of guest were divided in banquet and general restaurent.Secret Kitchen is specialled in making false promises and due to this customers have to suffer.

In December 2022 when we first hired banquet of secret kitchen and when we reached on agreed time there was no table setup plus th aircon wasnt working and they didnt informed us in advance so my guest had to sit in the general restaurent and i ended up paying the banquet package. But because of their unprofessional behaviour and miss management it didnt looked right in front of my guests.

I hope whatever happened to me it didnt happen to any other people and secret kitchen start hiring more trained profession who can achieve what they are promising to customers which is clearly not happening at the moment. But for me secret kitchen will definately go in my black list and neither i will visit the restaurent again but i will make sure no one visit this restaurent from my circle as they will ruin their special occasion which they did...

I recently visited The Secret Kitchen - Fine Dine Restaurant located on the 2nd Floor of Times Square 2, Sindhubhavan Road, Bodakdev, Ahmedabad, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful dining experience!

LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY: Situated in one of the most vibrant and upscale areas of Ahmedabad, Sindhu Bhavan Road is truly the heart of the city's culinary scene. This location serves as a hub for the best restaurants and cafes, making it the perfect destination for food enthusiasts.

AMBIENCE & INTERIORS: The moment you step inside, you're greeted by an elegantly designed space that exudes sophistication and class. The interiors are nothing short of spectacular – classic, attractive, and thoughtfully curated. What truly impressed me was the seating arrangement; each area is designed with privacy in mind, creating cozy nooks that allow every group of guests to enjoy their meal in an intimate setting. The botanical decor with hanging plants, beautiful floral arrangements, and warm lighting creates a serene and welcoming atmosphere. The attention to detail in the interior design deserves special mention!

FOOD PRESENTATION & QUALITY: I give them full marks for their exceptional food presentation and premium crockery. Every dish that arrived at our table looked like a work of art. The presentation elevated the entire dining experience and showed the restaurant's commitment to excellence.

FOOD TASTE & MENU SELECTIONS: We ordered an extensive variety of dishes, and the overall taste was outstanding:

Chinese Hot Pot – Flavorful and perfectly prepared Tomato Basil Soup – Rich, aromatic, and comforting Masala Papad – Crispy and well-seasoned, a perfect starter Paneer Vegetarian Dish – Delicious and well-cooked Another Vegetarian Main Course – Equally impressive in taste Butter Naan – Soft, buttery, and fresh Reshmi Paratha – The only item that was slightly disappointing as it was a bit thick, heavily stuffed, and on the heavier side for digestion

Despite the minor issue with the Reshmi Paratha, the overall food quality was excellent, and every other dish met our expectations.

SERVICE & STAFF: The staff at The Secret Kitchen deserves special appreciation. They were extremely courteous, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. They provided valuable assistance in helping us select our orders and remained fully attentive to our needs without being intrusive. Their warmth and hospitality added significantly to our positive experience.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: The Secret Kitchen offers a complete fine dining experience – from the elegant ambience and stunning presentation to the delicious food and impeccable service. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a family dinner, or simply looking for a quality meal in a sophisticated setting, this restaurant is an excellent choice.

World class Chef Aanal Kotak’s Restaurant is doing great in Ahmedabad since the last few years. Amdavad’s most extravagant multi cuisine buffet is now served at TSK. The Asthetic Ambiance, Top notch service and flavourful food are a few features of theirs to boast of. Moreover, they have launched Unlimited Lunch on Weekdays from Mon-Fri there is a Fresh Menu every single day which consists of Mocktail, Soup, Starters, Multi Cuisine Main Course and Dessert. In terms of presentation the food looks very Instagrammable and is served in exquisite Crockery.

What we had - Paneer Tikka : Well marinated Paneer Starter with Green Chutney on the side it tasted excellent.

Honey Chilli Potato : Fries tossed in Honey Chilli sauce these were bomb, very flavourful and indulgent starter in the Chinese options.

Punjabi Dal & Jeera Rice : The ultimate soul food combination that gets you salivating and reminds me of ghar ka khaana, this was delicious.

We tried alot of other items and it was a memorable Lunch, you too should check it out. One will be able to enjoy a great meal there. Save money and do not compromise on food or quality - plan this place for your next visit with Friends & Family!

Old Review : A fancy restaurant that has been in my lists since the time it opened. The menu famously curated by Chef Aanal compromises of some really fun fusion food delicacies. In terms of ambiance the place is done up very well the interiors are soo pretty there are couple seating areas as well as family tables definitely a place where you can get good photos clicked. The Menu is very limited and the food is pricey the presentation is great but lacks in terms of portion sizes so it does seem a little heavy on the pocket.

Fried Pasta - A popular Pasta dish that was suggested to me by regulars at this place this was cheesy and served on a stack rod with cheese sauce and spicy green chutney. This was bomb looked and tasted heavenly.

Mexican Platter - Mexican Rice with salsa and tacos along with sour cream this was a combination of items on a plate, super spicy with some intense flavours this makes you go 'Aah and Ooo'!

The service is efficient and quick and they have a nice system of everything from your Table reservation to the order being noted on the tab for no confusion. Overall, a nice place perfect if you are up to...
