I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the experience my husband and I had at Tulip Cafe in Vadodara yesterday. We traveled all the way from Surat for a special date, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a completely dissatisfactory affair.

From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the establishment lacked in various aspects. Firstly, the food quality was subpar, leaving much to be desired. Not only did the taste fail to meet our expectations, but the presentation and freshness were also lacking.

Moreover, the attitude and behavior of both the staff and the owner were unprofessional and unwelcoming. Our request to be seated on the first floor was rudely denied without any valid explanation, adding to our frustration.

Furthermore, the atmosphere and ambiance of the cafe were far from pleasant. The overall vibe was dull and uninspiring, failing to create the romantic setting we were hoping for on our special occasion.

Additionally, the online ordering system, which we accessed through the provided QR code, proved to be unreliable. After placing our orders, we did not receive any confirmation, leading to confusion and a subsequent dual order mishap.

In the scorching summer heat, one would expect a basic understanding of hospitality, yet the cafe failed miserably in this regard. Instead of providing chilled water, we were served lukewarm bottles, reminiscent of railway coach services rather than a reputable dining establishment.

Overall, our experience at Tulip Cafe was nothing short of a disappointment. The combination of poor food quality, unprofessional staff behavior, inadequate ambiance, and unreliable service left us feeling utterly dissatisfied.

I visited the cafe only for their ambience. I saw a similar cafe in mumbai and I was really excited to visit this one. The place is nicely built and everything but what they lack is customer management skills. We were 2 people and we were asked 5-6 six times to change the table as we were sitting on a table of 6 and not of 2 even when the table for 2 wasn't available. We agreed to shift but there was no table available to shift to. We were told to change the table while eating our food. Their reason was that it was weekend but there was absolutely no table available for 2/ mind you no table of 6 was even waiting and then they suggested us to sit out in the smoking zone as there was a table for 2 available there. So basically if you are a large group then only you are valued at this place otherwise they won't let you enjoy the food in peace. I cannot comment on the food as they didn't let me have one bite in peace. It was too much of a haphazard just because of the table. No water was served but they were continuously badgering us for the wrong table as if it is our fault. The correct way is that once the customers enter either you guide them to the table and then just leave them alone or just let them sit wherever they are sitting instead of disturbing them again and again. Good customer service is about providing a good customer experience which I absolutely did not have. They charge for water even though the guidelines for the restaurant suggest that you cannot charge someone for water/washroom even if they are not...
