I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the deplorable customer service during my recent visit. The experience was not only frustrating but also highly unprofessional.
The primary issue arose twice when I inquired about ordering a cake. That particular employee on duty appeared completely uninformed about the particular item and responded rudely that they're not accepting it currently, showcasing a lack of their own product knowledge that is vital in a customer service role. Meanwhile the manager and other employees told me that it is of course available. Despite that he still remained ignorant and disinterested.
To exacerbate matters, while attempting to address my concerns, the employee continuously interrupted our discussion to attend to another customer. This not only demonstrated a lack of courtesy but also a disregard for my time and the importance of my inquiry.
Adding insult to injury, my items were wrongly assumed to belong to another customer and were included in that customer's order. This level of carelessness is simply inexcusable in a customer-oriented environment.
Such incidents reflect poorly on the professionalism and competence of the staff, as well as the overall management. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect, my inquiries to be addressed promptly, and my transactions to be handled with care.

Read moreI visited Uppercrust at Vastrapur today and had a disappointing experience. We ordered the Tandoori Chicken, but they served us Classic Chicken tikka....It seemed that we were expected to accept whatever they served.
Additionally, we ordered the Matka Biryani, which took 45 minutes to arrive. Unfortunately, the biryani was not hot when it was served; it was even cold. This lack of attention to temperature and timing was quite disappointing. We always visit uppercrust because of quality of the food.....
Some customers were arguing with the supervisor, claiming they weren't attended to when placing their orders. Another group was upset due to misleading information given in the waiting area.
The staff appeared fatigued and weren't performing their duties attentively, which further contributed to the overall mismanagement and poor customer experience.
The overall mismanagement was evident. It's indeed challenging to build goodwill, but it's remarkably easy...

They have new cakes like fruit cake,chocolate chips cake etc nicely packed in red boxes on one aisle and the old aisles have the normal stuff. Their 2021 calender is very trendy and informative this time with their outdoor catering theme. The whole wheat jaggery for TEA cake is worth a million!so is the date and walnut cake. The rich fruit cake too is spongy and very fullfilling. The banana and vanilla sponge cake also was fresh. Just a bit of smile on the staff is required to keep the bakery...
