Dear Management & Other Passionate foodies!
So this was my first late nightout at the Upri Manzil it was somewhat around 12:45 AM on 28.02.2109 that me and my buddies and went out to have some relaxing time at the much hyped out restaraunt "UPRI MANZIL".As soon as we enter we find almost all the staff standing and watching a movie on the screen and the managers chilling out, just because there was no cliental at that time we were surprised with such a sight! Now lets come to an intresting part so we decided to have 3 Cups hot Masala Chai as the atmosphere was chilled out and were excited as the ambiance was pretty amazing we requested our server to bring the tea and we would be starting out with some appetizers within few minutes. So as the time passed by we started to wonder how much time does it take to prepare 3 cups of tea?????Anywys now by around 1:25 AM i ask one of the server about our tea and by that point i should mention that the whole staff upfront was just busy watching the Movie played on the screen by the management and the server has NO CLUE what we are talking about.Okay,so i am in turn met by one of the station holders or a supervisor who cones up and says "Sorry sir Chai toh possible nai hai abhi, kuch problem hua hai".Like after almost 30-35mins later this is what i get to here from the supervisor!!! I was extremely dissapointed at this point but i was met by the Restaraunt manager who assures that the tea will be served pretty soon we wait for some more time,Now guys guess what its almost 2 AM and i am met by the restaraunt manager with a bloody casual approach and he starts takking in a casual tone saying "Bro yaar chai possible nai hai,Milk ka kuch issue hua hai".Like what the hell guys bloody almost more than 1hr and this is what we get to hear. Then now comes the best part that the manager puts his hand on my shoulder and treats me as if i am his long lost Buddy and offers me conplimentary Mocktails or Milkshakes(I believe if the restaraunt has an issue over the milk then how come am i offered the same) Lol Guys!!! either the satff and manager hired are not educated enough to distinguish between a guest and a friend a beverage in which milk is being used. With utter dissapointment and disrespect we and my buddies we had to walk off from such a big scenario i felt really ashamed on how such a restaraunt who was doing such good business could have done such a thing. Surprising thing the owner of the restaraunt was present at that tine when this incident had taken place.
Dear food lovers & Chai lovers all i would humbly request you is to please confirm wether the restaraunt HAS MILK or RUN OUT OF MILK. Then go ahead for a cutting. My ratings are- Ambiance-4/5 Staff Attitude- 0/5(Is there a negative marking) Food & Drinks- 0/5 Overall experience- (0/5)

Read moreThis was my first time and i would like to share what ordeal i went through, coming from a hospitality industry and being a Food & Beverage Professional Executive for over 7 years what i faced is this-Really disappointed at the service,we went on 28.02.2019 at 12:45 AM and ordered for 3 cups of hot tea,the ambiance was good and we wanted to start with tea and other appetizers, the restaurant being empty the staff was busy watching movie on the screen. We waited for 15 minutes no tea was served, then after another 15 mins when we called the manager who was also among the people watching movie,he comes and says that he is sorry to say that the tea wouldn't be served as there is some issue. On asking the issue we are not told abut the problem and just waived off!!!! Utter nonsense and disappointment, later the owner comes and promises to serve tea within 5 minutes we wait another 30 mins that means we waited for 3 cups of teas for a bloody 1 HR!!!!!& after an hour the restaurant manager comes and says that he is sorry to say but they have issue with the milk and tea service is not possible.Instead he offers us Milkshakes and Mocktails in the chilly weather and to add to the fact that he is offering Milkshake which is made out of Milk and says tea is not possible as they have run out of it!!!!!Another thing is the casual staff attitude regarding this scenario the way the manager was constantly putting his hand around my shoulders as we have been long buddies was really pathetic. We were a guest their and the first time experience at the upari manzil was extremely dissatisfying. Ontop of that the staff were just sitting and ogling at my female colleague as if they have seen a women for then first time. This is utter disbelief that the management and the owner took non notice of it and we had to leave out at 2 AM after spending...
