Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge — Restaurant in Gujarat

I went for a meeting and ordered green tea and it was too good and you decided to visit again this time with my younger brother. It close at 11:00pm. We reached at 10:38pm and ordered tea. There was a family, a couple and small group of friend wearing formals. Me and brother had a good time enjoying tea as we didn't get time to talk everyday. We took a few pictures of us enjoying after 2 years and suddenly a staff came and said that it's already 11:00 you need to go. While he didn't said to the family who didn't ordered anything, not to a couple whose last sip was in glass and not to group of formal whose cup of tea was already cold. They all were talking on leftovers and we just took a pic of us having tea and as soon as finished, he came to us to ask us to leave???? I never felt such insult and that also in front of my brother. Those people just looked at us when we were asked to leave like we are not in a league. I thought if I or my brother had wear formal than I believe they had respected us. I don't even want to give a star but no option. I came back for tea as I loved it but their staff behaviour is not good. He should have told to all one by one visiting their table but he only came to us. I really hate it now. Don't be going...

The food and ambience was good. I was there for 50 minutes with a friend in total and we also ordered tea. Around 45 minutes in, the waiter asked us to leave as there are more customers coming in. I said, we are still in middle of discussion and planning to leave in around 10 minutes but this is not the way to ask customer to leave.

He was almost adamant on the same and asked me three times while i was explaining he should not ask me like that. I was seeing many people sitting even before i came and had finished food. But i guess as i had ordered only tea, he targetted our table. This is the only reason i might not visit again.

Later (in next 2 minutes i just stormed to paying counter to get done with it and move out) while paying, the person said credit card machine is not working and asked me to wait for 10 Minutes for the same. My response was i can't as one of them only asked me to leave. And then suddenly credit card machine just worked.

Need to improve on service standards by bounds. I may not have ordered many things that day but i could come back again, cafe should realize that. Moreover, idea behind a cafe is a place to communicate. This was all in afternoon, not even in high demand period...

We had came to this place for an interview. We had two classic chai, cheese shots and chai with vanilla ice cream, cheese shots are just those ready made frozen packets that were put to fry, nothing special about it. Chai with vanilla ice cream is decent, a little more sweet since the chai is sweet and the vanilla ice cream also added extra sweetness, so if only they can reduce the sweetness of the chai and then add vanilla ice cream it wud have been perfect. One HUGE customer service mistake they made: they gave us bill 2mins after we finished our food without us asking. Its not like their all other tables are full and they have twenty customers waiting outside. Its 2pm in the afternoon and the place have other empty tables as well. Its not one time they have given us the bill and left us, they have came back and interrupted us again in between our interview asking if the bill is done. Even if u sit at a chai ka kitley u will never find urself interrupted to pay the bill and here at wagh bakri cafe u are being told to pay the bill 2mins after u finish. Didnt even offer water at the very first place. Pathetic staff and...
