Wok on Fire combines the best of streetside Chinese and fine dining, by creating a spicy, tangy, delicious affair in a fine dining setup.
This was my upteenth visit here. Usually we order a bowl of noodles, a rice and some starters. Today also, we went for Malaysian flat noodles, Korean fried rice and paneer schezwan open bao.
We are a huge fan of their Malaysian noodles. Its a must try if you want to go beyond the usual Hakka noodles. The flavours are exotic, the veggies are liberally added. There are big chunks of brocolli, cabbage, carrots. Mushrooms added on request. Absolutely recommended.
The korean rice is an explosion of flavours. It is slightly on the spicier side, but not too much. If you like something less spicy then go for their Wok on Fire rice. Even with plain white rice, the flavours come out beautifully.
From the starters, we have tried paneer schezwan open bao, spring rolls and cheese cigars. So far, never disappointed. Big fan of their starters actually.
One time, we tried the soupy noodles and they were great too. Overall, if you are looking for a different chinese experience, beyond what is offered by the conventional places, visit here. Do ask the guy at the counter for recommendations if you are confused

The city’s largest Chinese Restaurant and also the biggest WOK On Fire outlet. It has a yellow and black interior theme scheme with a funky Drink bar area where the drinks are prepared. All the cutlery used is in Yellow so that kinda plays with a colour scheme and they have comfortable seating good for...
Read moreWok On Fire, located on Surajmal Javehri Road in the University Area of Ahmedabad, is a culinary delight for lovers of Indo-Chinese and Pan Asian cuisine. My recent visit to this restaurant was a delightful experience, and it is a place I highly recommend to anyone craving some flavorful Asian food.
The menu at Wok On Fire is extensive and offers a wide range of dishes from Indo-Chinese and Pan Asian cuisines. I started with the classic Veg Hakka Noodles and Chili Paneer, both of which were cooked to perfection. The noodles were perfectly seasoned, and the paneer was soft and flavorful, with the right amount of spice.
For the main course, I tried the Thai Green Curry with Steamed Rice and the Kung Pao Chicken. The Thai Green Curry was rich and aromatic, with a perfect balance of flavors, while the Kung Pao Chicken had a delightful mix of sweet and spicy notes, with a good amount of crunch from the peanuts.
The drinks menu is also quite impressive. I opted for the Lemongrass Cooler and the Virgin Mojito. The Lemongrass Cooler was refreshing and had a unique taste, and the Virgin Mojito was perfectly balanced, making it a great accompaniment to...
