Wave — Restaurant in Gujarat

Tried the buffet over here for the first time- taste wise overall food was not bad but not superb as well! Chef was very warm and co-operative in terms of providing jain food and also on special request provided eggless chocolate pastries which were the highlight of the entire meal. Live counter of pasta was also really nice- out of all the restaurants serving pasta in live counter in all the 5 star/ 4 star hotels - this was one of the best in terms of taste, quality and proportion of veggies. We felt that the varieties is less compared to other restaurants which they are offering in same price. I.e only chinese and indian cuisine was there whereas in other hotels there are various options. Nonethless, food is good taste wise so if there is no issue with the budget for people then they should certainly visit...

Visited the place for Sunday Brunch. The ambience is really soothing and the interiors are really good. The staff is well trained and really polite. They also had a live music performance which was really soothing. The brunch spread was pretty satisfying with dishes from various cuisines. We loved Steamed Momos, Singapore Noodles and Thai Curry in particular. The Indian spread has Cheese Butter Masala which was truly exceptional. The Chaat Counter had a variety of chaats. Though we missed gujarati farsan in the menu. The Mocktail counter served a variety of mocktails. We tried Mojito and Sunset Cooler. Both were really good. The best part of the spread as always was the Dessert counter. With more than 12 desserts on the menu, we had a gala time. Tiramisu and Chocolate Tart...

We went there and asked for buffet. Soup was only one. Only 2 items in starters. Also sabji's is less tasty. Also desserts are sour in taste. Double tree by hilton is not making quality food according to its price 1200 plus tax. I can say, anyone can get better food in 500 rs restaurant rather than this.

Another issue is their waiters who serve they dont know which things are chargeable. Looks like lack of training to them. 1 waiter was giving mineral water and said its free, other says its chargeable. Similarly, We asked juice, same thing happens. they are not aware and they are not saying to anyone whether its included in buffet or not. They charge 300rs per glass of juice in bill.
