Wok On Fire - Indo Chinese & Pan Asian — Restaurant in Gujarat

Visited this place on weekdays… Good part: food test and quality are too good. We tried corn cheese chilli momos and all in one sizzler with some mocktails… every thing tested very good.

Bad part: staff behaviour and specifically manager who handled cash counter. We placed an order 4 items and then we changed table informing to waiter as we were with infant baby. Out of four items 3 we got at new table and main sizzler served to old table number. Suddenly manager came rudely and said that we should inform him. When we told we informed waiter he literally called each person to our table to identify. Almost he has insulted us with the words “In this restaurant food is served according to table no.” Like we never had a visit to premium restaurant in life. Even street food vendors also follow table no. That guy handling cash counter is pathetic… we come for celebration with family… sincerely request the management to either change him or shift inside...

As someone visiting from the USA, I have a deep appreciation for good vegetarian Indo-Chinese cuisine and have enjoyed it at many eateries across India over the decades. My recent visit to Wok on Fire on OP Road, Vadodara in March 2024 was truly delightful. The experience was warm and welcoming, with a diverse menu, generous portions, and top-notch ingredients. Most importantly, the dishes were incredibly flavorful – some of the best Indo-Chinese I’ve ever tasted anywhere in the world! If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by and giving them a try.

As I was reminiscing / craving Wok on Fire taste, I idecided to at least write a review six months after my visit, and was surprised to read some negative reviews about this being a self-service establishment. I don't remember seeing any part where owners claimed this to be a full-service eatery! No one goes to McD and expect...

Wok On fire is the best place to eat Chinese. Staff was really helpful and understanding served on time they were again and again visiting on time to take empty dishes. Tarik was especially helpful and the way he took care of all customers was appreciated as he also suggested me what to eat after asking my taste, even he made mouth watering mocktails. Manager at billing was also bery humble. Sitting was managed properly. Food was so yummy and hygiene too. Had good Air conditioning too. Floor and tables were cleaned again and again. And yes, the manager asked each and every time that you don't have an allergy to the mashroom as some people do have. This looks like they were concerned about customers.

I suggest you do visit if you like chinese food and recommend to have mocktails from tarik.
