Cafe Nautical Mile — Restaurant in Gurugram District

It's a lovely, sweet, cozy little restaurant near Golf course extension road. There is a personal touch to the ambience of the place. With indoor games and a lovely pet named Zen. Yes the place is pet friendly with a cute little menu for your furry family member. Each and every element in the decor is done so lovingly by the pilot owners. The decor and ofcourse the name "Nautical mile" has a theme related to travelling, flying. There is a small boutique on the mezzanine with a small line up of women clothing designed by one of the owners Akansha, that adds to the restaurant. While you wait for your food, you are happily engaged checking out the decor or the cute little pet or checking out the stylish clothing line up upstairs. You will meet the owner partners often who receive you with such warmth and a good conversation. The menu is wonderful too with great coffee, good breakfast options, pastas, sandwiches, varities mocktails and so much more. I have been there couple of times with family and we went there for our book club lunch meeting. And it was such a hit amongst us. Felt sick after having the food. Had asked for food without mushrooms as I am allergic to it.and repeated told the owner Nimish to ensure no mushroom should be there on my food. But I was served food with mushrooms. When I asked the staff to change it they just physically removed the mushroom from the food and served me the same and told me that it's ok to eat. I trusted them and had the food and came home got a full blown mushroom allergy. Felt nauseous and threw up whatever I had. This is their commitment towards their customer and when I called them to report this issue Mr. Nimish was proud enough to support his staff and not admit their error or felt sorry about my situation. He didn't want to admit that he was careless. I have been a regular here co initially I found the coffee n food nice but not any more. It seems popularity got on the head of the co founder of this cafe and it's really unfortunate. Please don't visit this place unless you want to fall sick coz the co founder doesn't care about...

It was our first time experience here as we were visiting the area. We ordered Grilled Fish and under description it clearly stated that the dish would be provided with fried vegetables and mashed potatoes. We waited for an approx. 20 mins and when the dish arrived - it was quite surprising as the quantity was way below expectations. We have had this dish from other cafes too in Gurgaon and frequently from 32nd and Cyber hub, so we knew the standard quantity of this dish. I never go by quantity unless it is just extremely low like in this case. Mashed potatoes was less than a spoonful and in the name of vegetables we got just a slice of green and yellow capsicum. Worst was Owner's behavior who was deaf ear to my feedback. (Which I gave only after paying them - so no I was not after free food!!!) Anyway we are not visiting this place as it was not worth it both in terms of quantity and taste. I am giving 2 stars only for the person who served the food and did the billing as he was quite respectful...
