As a seasoned food enthusiast, I recently visited Copper Chimney with high expectations, driven by the impressive 4.7/5 rating on Google. However, my experience left me thoroughly disappointed and skeptical of the authenticity of that rating.
Let’s start with the most crucial aspect: the food. The quality of the dishes at Copper Chimney was highly inferior, failing to live up to the lofty expectations set by its supposed reputation. The flavors lacked depth, the ingredients seemed uninspired, and overall, the dishes felt mediocre at best. It was evident that little attention was paid to culinary finesse, leaving me questioning the positive reviews that led me here in the first place.
Moreover, the discrepancy between the online ratings and the actual dining experience was perplexing. It felt as if I had stepped into a different restaurant altogether. The glowing reviews on Google seemed oddly disproportionate to the subpar food quality I encountered. It raises suspicion about the authenticity of those ratings, leaving me questioning whether they were artificially inflated or manipulated.
Ambiance-wise, Copper Chimney fared decently, with its cozy and inviting atmosphere. However, this alone cannot compensate for the lackluster food and service that tainted the overall experience. After all, the primary reason for visiting a restaurant is to enjoy a satisfying meal, which, unfortunately, was sorely lacking at Copper Chimney.
In conclusion, my visit to Copper Chimney left me perplexed and disheartened. The seemingly high Google rating turned out to be misleading, leading me to question the credibility of online reviews. The inferior food quality and lackluster service overshadowed any positives the restaurant had to offer. I would caution future diners to approach Copper Chimney with skepticism and perhaps explore alternative dining options that prioritize both taste and...
Read moreWent there for a Team outing, had heard and read a lot of rave reviews about this place. Unfortunately, nothing of that sort occurred nor the food, neither the service.
We ordered a variety of items, ranging from veg to non veg dishes (veg and non veg platter) all were just about average in starters. Service was not good at all, on more than 2 occasions, while serving food it got spilled on people. Due to dietary issues, even though we confirmed on non veg platter if its a fish or chicken, they confirmed the latter however it turned out to be a fish, person had to throw up all of it.
The only silver line were the cheesy mushrooms, loved them to the core.
Nov'2024 update
All the above mentioned can be attributed to be an outlier, ordered variety of dishes this time around - all were delicious to the core. Chargrilled mushroom need a special mention, paneer tikka was decent enough. Stuffed kulcha, garlic naan, lahori chicken and rawalpindi gosht - all were tasty. In drinks, apple and anise could be avoided if you do not like daal cheeni taste :)
Only off thing this time around was the service time, 20 mins wait for each...
Read moreIf you’re in cyber hub and searching for a good place to sit and have good food in that won’t burn a hole through your wallet, this is the place to go. We had quite a few drinks and lots of food. We still stayed under the 10k range which was extremely pleasant.
Try their Long Island Peach Iced Tea (which is more like a Pina Colada TBH) but still packs a punch. Or you can try and request for a regular one which you’ll most likely get with an extra charge for coke. The pizza’s are nice and the chicken was good. I wouldn’t say great but for the money it’s a fair catch.
The ambience is pretty neat and clean and the crowd is decent. It’s a family kinda place so you’ll typically find couples with the elderly and sometimes kids too. But then again, it maybe what you seek.
All in all, you’ll have a good time here. The bathroom is borderline acceptable and the overall lighting is pleasant. The service is good and you won’t need to ask again for a refill....
