Dana Choga — Restaurant in Gurugram District

I ordered butter chicken today at 6:50 pm . The restaurant told food is dispatched at 7:10 . I live in sector 46 . It is only a 10 min way from nirvana courtyard to sector 46 on bike . I ordered direct from restaurant by calling them . Not through Swiggy or Zomato . There personal delivery person had a very bad and insulting phone ringtone which insults the customer . I called him 5 times he said he is stuck in jam . There is no such jam at 7 pm evening . Then he said he is at bakhtwar chowk which is completely opposite direction . Conclusion he came at my doorstep at 8 pm. He was just roaming on roads with my food he was DRUNK . Cold food was delivered to me after 1 hour delivery . 1 hour late delivery only for a 10 min way . Never order from this restaurant again . Food was complete cold . Delivery guy drunk misbehaved with me Delivery guy name - neelam jafrabad. Never order from this restaurant . Delivered cold food 1 hour late delivery. Took 1000 rupees cash from me for that cold...

I have eaten at this place a few times and never been convinced of their standing. I think it's overrated and expensive in comparison to other places. And there are plenty of places around Nirvana that serve good food. Dana Choga has enjoyed a first mover advantage in Gurgaon and old timers have an affinity with them for this reason only. Personally, I am not in favor of multicuisine restaurants because, a chef can only (loosely speaking) be good or have expertise in one type of cuisine. Somehow, multicuisine restaurants especially smaller joints are non-serious.

Dana Choga will do well to trust its old clientele and try to reposition as per the highly competitive food landacape in Gurgaon. Their pricing and quantity are simply not compatible. Their first mover advantage has eroded long ago. They need to recapitalize and reinvent the brand!

The best restaurant for food lovers. This is a lovely place with vertical garden installed inside....gives close to nature kinda feeling. I have been here twice and my experience has been wonderful. I would love to come here everytime i visit gurugram. The restaurant is very big and spacious...Trendy interior. Although # seats are not sufficient, especially in weekends. Ambience is very peaceful and quite. The staff is friendly. And the menu is just amazing. They serve wholesome variety of delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Desserts, bevarages etc options also available. Taste is awesome. Their serving portions are compatible with the price. Quality and quantity of food is well balanced. Staff is hardworking and services are quick. Place is well maintained, neat and hygienic . Great place. must come...
